There are some really cool bits to Beowulf - if you have the patience to stick with it... though many people will not make it pass the poorly implemented heroic songs parts. There appears to be a number of hastily created scenes at the start of the game which will probably put people off - and its not so easy to dip back into where you left the game last, or to replay a bit you liked, so this is for gamers that can spend the extra time to make it to a save point... Which is okay on some areas but on others the level is longer and not so good for a quick hack 'n' slash session. The "look" screens seem a bit pointless and it would have been nice to explore a bit... but it feels like some parts had to be cobbled together quickly to meet the film release date... shame as there are some really cool bits to the game but you've got to stick in there (like a stubborn kinda warrior) to get to them. Good, but could have been amazing, like the film.
