I am stuck in the first act, I can not figure out how to use the interaction and move on from the ship. can somone please help me. I will be really greatfull

When the item is highlighted you've to destroy it - best by heavy attack.

When the way is stucked by somthing big have to use command panel (default CTRL) and press UP button to order your thanes to move the obstacle.

To fasten this proces press again command panel and LEFT. Then you'll have this silly-game with pushing UP and holding DOWN.
