Hi,

I have been going nuts with this error. game installed fine but as soon as i start it i get the message box-

"Current user does not have the permission level to play this game"

with an OK button. thatz all.

My user A/c is administrator and vista is up to date with latest drivers, dx, xlive etc

Hardware - X2 4400, 8800GT, 2GB

Can someone please help.

But are you running the game as an administrator?
Try right clicking the icon or game exe. and select, "Run as Administrator"

yup it was the first thing i tried.. and in case you are wondering i have checked the security/readonly properties of all the files.

i have a few other games .. they are running fine and this install of vista is only 15 days old.
