Ok I have Intel Pentium D 805 2,66gh (It's a dual core processor). And the game says that I'm not able to play. The performance rate of my cpu is about 5,2ghz. Ok when I overclocked my cpu I couldn't even get into the menu. I press space and nothing happens. I think the game needs another patch. Do you all have the same problem or not? Pls respond quickly!!

If you unplug any joysticks and/or gamepads, the keyboard will work normally. It worked for me

Spiegelmann: it's working right now. I just unplugged my game pad and everything works smoothly. I didn't even have to overclock my cpu to 3ghz

Hi snejku1984
I have a core 2 duo processor, and it worked (even though the message said it was not right) then I decided to put in the patch. That is when it no longer worked at all. It did either of two things. 1. It hung after pressing space. 2. It loaded the game but hung a short while later. I uninstalled Beowulf (you can keep the saved games) and then reinstalled it. I did NOT put the patch in. It then worked again. After that it stated hanging every once in a while, and I got the latest driver (7600GT is my card) which didn't quite solve the problems, but it works okay. I don't have a joystick, so I can't comment on that side of things. Hope this helps you. |
