i'm in a level that i need to destroy the heavy armer-it's the tank and i can not... i am shooting on him grenad's and everything i have but he is not exploding what do i need to do?

Can I ask what platform you are playing, what version of Ghost Recon and what level you are on (a little more detail than provided above please)

I'm playing ghost recon advanced warfighter mission coup d'etat check point 8.
i need to protect the vip and to distroy the tank-havy armer...

Your squad normally deals with the enemies coming in from the centre, however
they will try to move round to the side and attack, kill any soliders who get
in range keeping an eye out for any trying to rush the embassy and kill the
Mexican President. After a while, an Apache will enter the battle, go into the map
mode and use it to destroy all the enemies (vehicles first!) in the area. Continue
to do so until Black Hawk 4 enters. The Mexican President will now follow you so
slowly make your way to the helicopter making sure that no enemies remaining
hit VIP2. After VIP2 and your squad enter the Black Hawk, it's mission complete.

Try the apache, that should be the key to taking out the armour.

I think he is talking about the mission where there is a tank in front of the Parking Garage!

So, next time give the people MORE details on the mission / situation.

To destroy the tank, you must RESUPPLY at the helicopter on the roof and pick a zeus-rocket!

actually if you would have read what he said you would have found that he gave plenty of information.

I have read very well what he said.

It isn't "plenty of information".

Coup d'etat, checkpoint 8, is not the checkpoint that you thought it was.
It is in fact the checkpoint with a tank in front of the parking garage.

then follow the instructions on your screen, they say:
go upstairs to the helicopter, get a zues, go back down and shoot the armour. Make sure your team stays away from the tank, and kill the snipers before shooting the tank.
