Just curius to see how many people are considering to boycott ubisoft because of...

. Lack of comunication with its costomers.
. Prices on DLC, half the time are overpriced.
. They Dont lissen to us the comunity.
. They are slowly leaving the tactile style of gaming and there most loyal fans to make more money by making there games unrealistic....

Well i agree with all 3 points above except for the DLC issue because i havent recieved any DLC obvisouly becasuse i own a PS3 .And no i will not be buying anything from Ubisoft again,until they fix Rainbow six vegas 2 properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure we complain... but at the end of the day they still hav the best MP game out there. And don't try to sell me on CoD4... I already own Halo3.

Agreed.
It can be better, and has been better, but at the end of the day GR/Rainbow are still better than the options.

I already have passed on Vegas2, and don't see anything coming out from Ubi that I would be interested in purchasing.

The only thing that at this time could interest me is a future GR title, depending on what the game play is like. But it certainly is not a must buy at this point.

heck yes!!!! I've had nothing but fun w/ GRAW & GRAW2. I am waiting the new stuff to drop in March. I'll wait for Tom Clancy's stuff to develop more before buying other games, though. Sad it's not already there.

The Vegas stuff just ain't me.

I say no and backed this by not purchasing Vegas2. I purchased the DLC for GRAW 2 and have now decided to forget wasting anymore funds on UBISOFT game titles.

To many bugs, to many high charges on DLC, to much multiplayer lag, very little customer support, very poor communications on updates and patches, failure to respond to issues within a reasonable time frame.

I do see many awesome advancements on game features, effects, etc. This is just not enough to keep me coming back for new releases, i would rather the old stuff fixed and working as it should first.

Problem i see most is patches and fixes are released way after people have moved on to a new game. New DLC does not release fast enough to keep gamers attention.

But thats only my view, feel free to take your own with out flaming pls.

I buy Ubisoft games non-stop. Sometimes I don't even look into the game info. I have been very happy with most of my Ubisoft buys.

Let's not kid ourselves. Here we are on a ubisoft forum - of course we're going to buy again.

I do agree with you AI.BLUEFOX: My issues is this company just dont seem to listen or they listen and just dont care.

A theory could also be the bug takes longer then exspected to find then fix with a released update due to the xboxlive compilant system.

If we dont tell them we have issues they claim they didnt know, if we inform them we have issues we get responces like "ill update you when we have more information" and never hear from them again. (Look at the single player master achievement issue.)

I see GRAW 2 losing gamers at a fast rate to other games and yes this is normal, but what is not normal is the fact only a very small amount of gamers are returning after they play the new game for a few days. Most gamers on my friends list always return to GRAW as die hard fans thats why they are on my list. Over the past 2 months ive noticed what used to be 80% GRAW most the time, is now 30% GRAW2 & 70% other games.

When i talk with my friends the responce has moved towards GRAW2 is dead, we are bored with GRAW2, DLC doesnt work for my gamertag, my gamertag still wont allow me to play GRAW2 multiplayer even after the patch.

Actually my friends list had 5 players with this GamerTag issue and 3 of them are now in operation again but 2 still fail and have given up.

9 out 15 Gamers on my list that purchased Vegus 2 have now returned it to the store for an exchange for a different game within 7 days of purchase.

Generally i feel most will buy the next release of GRAW but i remain unsure if they will buy any further DLC due to issues it has caused in the past.

As a customer i am very fustrated with this company. Pls note the only reason i follow and post on this forum is so they know just how upset and frustrated i am.

I would buy any new sequel to GRAW and R6 Vegas as they are the best shooters on the 360. Vegas 2 is my favourite game now. On the other hand, I returned Bioshock, Mass Effect and Halo 3 without finishing them.

I'll buy Ubi again.....

yes they seem detached at times,... following company policy I'm sure. I wish they were a little more open.

But they produce my favorite games. I've got all the GR/GRAW series, RV2 is good but I'm really looking forward to Endwar and GR3/4. I'll probably pre-order both.

I don't think I have owned an ubisoft game I didn't like. Sure there are issues but in the end I like them muy mucho. A few:

Ghost recons, Rainbow sixes, Assassin's Creed, Naruto was pretty good, Far Cry is always fun to mess around with, and the splinter cells.

Sure some of the franchises had their weak points but whatever.

And plus Ubi has the Frag Dolls. C'mon now!

I would consider a different ghost recon title only if major changes were implemented. Sadly this doesn't matter because for every person like me, there are people like the three posters above that will glady give their money away to watered down garbage and be happy with it because they don't know any better.

There are plenty of gamers like you, unfortunately, we are looking at another studio to fill the shoes of a once great developer.

I wont buy another Ubi game until it has been reviewed or recommended to me by someone I trust or outside factors mean I need a copy for an event or something.

I have faith that Ubi can put out good games in the future but at the moment I'm very very cautious about the quality and direction of all of the main UBI franchises. Whereas in the past I would have seen UBI as mark of quality, I now see it as a mark of pandering to the mainstream and the complete abandonment of their original fanbase. RSE have started to change that with the co-op collection map packs, I just hope it continues.

Ubi knows this. They have figured out it is more profitable to make generic games that they can sell to people that won't hold them accountable for product quality.

I also agree with this post.

UBISOFT dont even care about website issues. Its all a front for a money making machine. Support cost money so why would they want to eat into the good old profit margine to make people happy. They know they dont have to because people will still buy the games.
