If I read the 50+ pages of rules correctly, the auto-rifleman is the only class that teams could optionally replace with an extra rifleman.

You know, I had the base rules set up to allow a team to run the fourth man as either an A or R...but the mission specified one of each.
I have since changed the rules so that every mission you need one of each class. Yet another example of why I wanted to run through a pre-tournament challenge first. By the way..... Doesn't "running it for score" and having it compared to your peers give co-op an edge?
What is great about it is....it is you against random AI...not you against other players directly with a reflex-oriented control the map game. Your performance is compared to peers in the most meaningful way I could find. Looks like Braybot's team did a quality job....but in case you didn't notice....Braybot's team HAS BEEN BESTED. |

Old school lists aircraft destroyed as completing the 2ndary objective. Isn't bringing down the comm system before the helicoptor arrives the 2ndary objective? |

Yeah, I thought we had to have an AR, which made stealth extremely difficult.

Yeah, I noticed in retrospect that I didn't completely explain exactly what the primary and secondary objectives were....so I made some notes to make sure that is clear. As for that team....they though destroying the aircraft (The red blocks) was the secondary objectives so that is why they put that. They did, however, destroy the comms as well....so the points were correctly calculated. |

Sorry fellas, I was out of the office today kin of unexpectedly today. I wanted to get this out to you first thing this morning but it took me till now.. We had a few new teams join the tourney, so this should be interesting. The teams are shown below my signature.. Here is the mission for Monday. Good luck with this one, it is going to be a real ******* to hold the zone as long as you can...especially with no respawns and your guys having to be one of each role R, M, G, and A. Wow,...
we've been trying but have not made it to the entire 30 min yet. our team is experimenting with different stratagies, we had a low of 1 min and a high of 16 min so far, much more practice before Mon is planned. it seems that the direction of attack varies somewhat (the middle is always hot though), we were surprised to se them using smoke once on entry. there was a post (here?) listing the entered teams and their members, where is it or what happened to it ?
I am concerned about this "honor" system. I am sure that everyone is aware of the cheating, glitching and boosting that takes place on Game battles and in the ranked rooms. We have increased our best time to over 25 min (just once though) and would appreciate an observer to verify our results, and also an observer to verify the other teams as well. |

You managed to go 25 minutes? Sheesh, that is great. I definately hear what you are saying about the "trust" thing. The tournament is based on the honor system at this point. I personally know everyone on 7 of the 10 teams. I know that those 7 teams can be trusted to be truthful. I suspect that the other 3 teams are trustworthy as well.
