cant blow up helio, even after i place c-4 and get rosen, any ideas for me, iam lost here...!

It should blow up when you get to the extraction (with Rosen) point and take off.

Yeah, I remember getting very upset at GRIN with this map and telling them where they could shove their game (all in my mind of course! ) as there should be a voice over or text telling you that the Helo will blow up after getting to the LZ.

Why the need for it to let you know? Because in AW 1 and on many cases on AW2 you get to blow the C4 at your leasure but not in this case? troublesome to say the least.

it wont blow up when i get to the extraction point, rosen wont get into the helio, if he got in the bird it would blow up. everyone is dead, nothing is left, yet he wont get in the bird, am i missing somrthing??

Give Rosen the command to follow you

just thought of something, is there more then one part to the helio, i know the part in the building, is there another piece? if so where??thanks if you can help..

Ahhhhh Yes!, sometimes, the Helo is not where the waypoint says, look around the other 2 or 3 buildings and until you see the helo Nose, you'll know you have found it. It will prompt you to put some C4 on it.

Good to read about this. I am also having trouble getting Rose in Chopper and blow up the remains.

I tried giving command following, but I am not getting it done. Once I select follow, then what do I have to do, just enter the chopper?

Yep, that's pretty much it. If you like to make sure, give him the FOLLOW command and run somehwere far away from the Helo to see if he follows you, if he does, then, all you do is get in the Helo and he will follow you in as well.

What I did was make sure Rosen was selected and pointed my crosshairs at the helicopter and told him to "use" the helicopter. He jumped right in. Thats what I always did with rest of the ghost so I figured it should do the same with Rosen.

The reason why it does not blow up until extraction is because its a covert op and the point here is you are supposed to do the mission with stealth and not go in guns blasting !

I am having a problem with getting Rosin in the damb chopper. I have read about giving him commands as to follow me and point the crosshairs at the chopper, But I have the PC version and don't have voice commands. I have never ever had this much problems to finish a mission is this a glitch or what? Damb game is driving me nuts Help Please!

choose Rosen - click middle mouse button - aim on the blackhawk and wait for the "use"-order to appear then confirm clicking middle mouse button

I've finally gotten to this mission even though I have had this game since release, or close to anyway. I used to see a lot of threads about this mission called 'Get Me Rosen' and I completed it tonight so I figured I'd check out what the commotion was all about. Seems it was just a bug. Damn, I'd built it up so much in my mind. For me Rosen took his sweet time, but eventually he got in the Blackhawk without having to order him, he just had a follow command active.

One thing in this thread caught my attention though...

Now, while the briefing words it somewhat poorly, it is definitely in there where it says the C4 will be detonated remotely after you extract Rosen. I say it's written poorly in that it says something like "you have the option of C4 you can detonate after you extract Rosen". The key word is 'option'. You don't have an option though and this can lead to confusion if you're not thinking about the last part where it mentions detonation after extraction, which implies that it'll be done automatically because you generally don't have control once a chopper you're riding takes off in this game.

Oh, trust me, nobody. But it's the texted briefing rather than the verbal. As over-the-top as those voices are, though, it's nothing compared to the horrible voice acting in Vegas. Just... just horrible... I'm sure the voice actors themselves are fine, but they can't pull off the accents they're supposed to be doing. Still, I have heard worse.

after getting stuck at the same location I have read all your comments, but for some reason I cannot get Rosen to 'follow' the game will not accept the command.

I have tried reconfiguring the mouse wheel but I am still not getting it sorted.

I am getting ready to shot him then myself but that anit going to get me past this point.

How the f*** can I sort this.

I could not get the mouse wheel ("Center button") to activate the 'USE' command so I went to the options at the console and set a new button for the USE command. I used the right Alt Button. Once I got close to the chopper I pointed my crosshairs at the chopper and selected Rosen and then used the alt button. He got right in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally got this damn mission finished!!!!!!!
