Hey this is my first post here and I don't know about many of you but I do know that I'm fed up playing this game the run&gun way. that's not what it's meant to be, but that's what it's become.

I've been playing the Ghost Recon since the first XBOX came out. And I still play it on my 360 from time to time, the original and island thunder.

I would just like to find as many people that still play it the old way (last man standing) to add me to your friends list. I play GRAW2 the original ghost recon and island thunder as stated before. I don't claim to be the best player by any means but I miss the way things used to be, where you would stay up all night playing the game the way its supposed to be played and actually being afraid to die in a game. my gt is SOS765 for anyone that wants to add me. I don't have much time during the week but I'm on a lot during the weekends. I have downloaded all the map packs so playing new maps isn't a problem either. I just want to play some old school recon like I used to.

hey I dont have GRaw2 mainly because of what the graw games did to the series, but I was wondering do people play them like the originals? If so id buy it for that reason alone. Ill find out maybe ill rent it. You know how people say they will boycott games if they arent the right way? Well thats usually people talking, I did boycott, not that I was real mad, just disappointed they changed GR and added all those diamonds and well practically nerfed it as bad as halo. Anyway, just hope GR4 is better and I can stop boycotting any GR games in the future.

EDIT: I did dl the Graw2 demo on xbox and while it was fun it was not really good, so much crap on the screen like that dialoge box that pops up telling u the officer is dead. Takes up so much space. And those diamonds are ridiculous, I know console players arent really into hard games but I mean that ruins the whole game. Ok ill stop now, I see that the game could be good if it was stripped of all of that stuff.

You can turn the diamonds off in the server settings.

Practically all hosts turn the diamonds off, the drones off and the kill cams off. No screen clutter except for the cross com, and you can turn that off for yourself if you want to.

You still get run and gun games, but also a good amount of siege and lms type games where people play a style similar to the OGR days.

I may open a GRAW2 room tonight around 9:30 EST: siege/blind siege, half booms, FIRST PERSON ONLY

If it doesn't fill up, I'll switch back to 3rd person and pander to the masses.
