Up to 3 teams each with designated leaders waiting for your instructions. 3: The feel of trying to get through the entire level with no casualties or injuries, the risk of losing teammates always breathing down your neck. 4: Exciting storyline with gritty tactical realistic sandbox gameplay, challenging AI and great military music. That's what I miss about Ghost Recon.  |

1.GR was the reason why I started playing on the xbox,starting with grit.Ever since GR2 has came out I have been dissapointed with this series in one way shape or form,but I continue to buy into this series with the hope that one day they will get it right.
2. Community, this is probably the reason I have stuck with GR. It has always had some of the best people to play with on xbox live.  |

Ghost Recon means tactics, you can have ur arse handed to you by experienced players who know the nooks an crannies of a map!
it means team effort! if I can't get a target or a player is owning me, my team mate can help alleviate the aggravation of getting downed by the same person over and over again. It means making many friends intercontinentaly. I have never had any ill feelings to those from the uk, but many hours of graw have made some of them my nearest and dearest friends even though I hail from philly. it means no racial prejudice (on other live games all you hear is NIGGER this and Nigger that)! whether your white black Chinese or Iranian, if your a GRAW fan, then your accepted no matter what, even the french guys! No one knocks you for not being as good as everyone else as long as you communicate and support when needed! GRAW brings us all together, now if only the FPS fans and the OTS fans could coexist everything would be fine!  |

Absolutely.  Ghost Recon started with the ghillie suit. People have whined and complained that the ghillie suit would be pointless for them to bring back. The hell with them. We have games now with ghillie suits.....but where's Recon's ghillie suit? Oh yeah, they haven't brought it back. Battlefield(all of them) have a ghillie suit......COD4 has a ghillie suit.......Operation Flashpoint 2 is going to have a ghillie suit(and will most likely put Ghost Recon out of business).......ArmA II(I'm pretty sure is going to have one too. So come on with it Redstorm. It's time, more than ever, for the GHILLIE SUIT to make it's comeback. It's time for all the little halo wannabe ghosts to die tired within our crosshairs. It's time for us to finally be Ghosts once again. |

I'm sorry but whats up with the whole point of a damn ghillie suit. There is so much other important issues on the line here and you all are only worried about a retarted ghillie suit.
Important things like GR 4 might not make it to pc, with no pc verison means no direct IP connections ( you'll have to play on game spy or ubi server till they remove it to make room for another crappy game ). No pc verison means no personal mods or mod tools. One of the best part of pc gaming is when the defult maps gets old, you can make a new mod. With pc gaming and mods you can make your own custom ghillie suit and shut up about it. I know you all been playing console so long, that you all over looked you freedoms and rights that the pc gaming gave to you. So next time you have a chance to vote or suggest something about a new game coming out, don't be such a retard and think a little about the important things that made the last game a worthless coffee table coaster. I have a feeling that they will increase the draw distance. If they don't, OPFP2 will demolish GR4 sales. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFVKGH-q10A I hope Redstorm has seen that video, because they have some steep competition ahead of them. Gamers will say, why play GR4 with a draw distance of 30m when OPFP2 has a draw distance of 1+ miles.
Talk about a lack of intelligence and common sense. The fact that you don't understand the point of a ghillie suit, and that you are in a console forum talking about PC games, really says a lot about yourself. Seriously, if you want to talk about PC, go do it in the PC section. If you scroll up to the top of your page, there is a link that says Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter PC, click on that, and go talk to people over there about a PC version. Look above that link, and you'll see that this is a console forum. Also, if you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, there's a link called Terms of Use. You might want to read it. Insults will only get you banned from these forums. |
