Why Cant we see the cross com on characters faces?

My guess is it would be too easy to spot people with that bright greenish blue thing sticking out, especially on a night map.

But where is it it needs a skin out of all things

I know of one of them for sure that has the Cross Comm with the helmet - face gear. it is the the helmet with the black protective face mask type of contraption. There are two versions of it, one without the Cross Comm and one with. Obviously look for the one with. It covers his right eye. But on our screen our Cross Comm in game is on the left top corner lol.

When you medic someone who has it you can see it on their face.
