Hi GR fans,
Where to begin,ok I run with my Clan on Graw2,we are Co-Op Elite[C.E.O.s].We are registered on gamebattles,after a clan match tonight,some of us decided we have had enough with it,esecially regarding some of the stuff the oppostion does,breaking rules,glitching,lagging,etc.

We are a clean clan and players,we dont condone the above,it goes against good clean gaming and GR.We are looking for something "like" gamebattles,but with more mature players and like to play the game the way its meant to be played.

Can any provide links towards sites that deal in GR clan games for the matue minded gamer[s].

Anyway... I've been playing on Digital Combat for a few years and have not met a better bunch of guys and girls that are respectful and fantastic players. We have rarely (if ever) needed a ref in a game. Unfortunately the match playing has been sparse for GR these past few months.

I did join a team on GB to get some recent matches in and, I have to say, after playing two matches... I doubt I will EVER play on GB again.

There was nothing but trash talk and glitching. Even with a ref in the room that requested that nobody mute up, the CAPTAIN of the other team would mute the ref before screaming into the mic and saying the nastiest stuff about the him and the team I played on. He would then unmute and talk as if nothing had happened. I felt like I was in second grade again.

The match took much longer than it should have because of childishness. Can't wait for GR4 so that my squad gets back into action on DC.

used to play on gb all the time with gr but since the european side of things was done away with it isnt the same.

i worked as a ref on gr with gb for some time and it was well run but too many different sites tried opening up as euro gaming sites but none really took off and clan matches became a thing of the past for some time. not sure on how clans do now as i havnt been involved for some time and im not a big fan of all the run and gun games that seem to be around now when it comes to clan matches.

hopefully the next ghost recon will get my clan together again as i miss the good old clan matches. hopefully we will find a good active european gaming site.

Team Compete used to be the best for GR clan matches back in the day. Wonder what they are like now.

Nah mate don't play clan matches anymore. Only really ever played GR and GRAW 2 got boring quickly because of the static spawning and siege bases stuck in corners. Played COD4 for a bit after that but it wasn't the same.

Nothing like attacking a central siege base on GR2/GRSS when you are the last guy left. Silent sniper, 3 enemies left and 7 minutes on the clock. Now thats what makes a clan match. Sweaty palms and heart beating. Hasn't been the same since GRAW was released. They missed the essence of what made the old games so good.

Back in the day you almost had to use Diazepam 'n a towel for the hand-control playing siege on those snowy maps, phew!

fifajay, there are still some good teams and matches going on GB. The AI GHOST FOXES will give you a siege game, no trash talking or disrespect, and certainly no cheating.

We have never had a ref in the room in 10 seasons on this game or the GRAW 1 seasons before that. To us that would be an abject failure of the main purpose of playing which is to enjoy the game.

If it ever gets really bad with a team, which it can do rarely, we'll just politely hand them the win and move on. Don't care about ladder positions and all that rubbish - just a a good, clean, fun match.

We'll point you in the direction of other good teams as well. There are a fair few around still.

Ghost Foxes are a good clean team, without the bs, never had any problems with those guys. If you are long enough on GB you know what teams you should play and which you should not play.

And we (Ghost Elite EU) are gonna open a new ladder soon(before end of the month) but the matches or gonna be played at EU times.

I've been trying to unite the remaining GR teams together on one site. Or at least the respectful teams who enjoy clean competition. We have a few teams interested, but need some more to add to the mix.

GameBattles was the best but now its just full of kids and teams that cant take losing. Like sum one sed alot of sites have been made but none really worked. What we need is Ubi to make us a site we can play on with no drama.
