Ok I have an answer from 1 of the 3.
"yea it popped up right away...as long as you have all teh training achievs and the Quick mission ones...however two of my friends couldnt get it to work because supposedly if you play teh DLC before you get it it messes it up"

I don't know...now this is someone entirely new to this convo saying this. It seems that perhaps there could be a link there.

In my house there are 2 xbox's, 2 Gamertags and 2 GRAW disks, One is mine, one if my wifes.

She has 1250 Points

I have 1200 Points

We got the Single player master after getting all the new DLC, We BOTH finished the game within days of each other (We had both mainly played online but as we both played it so much we wanted to finish it off, xbox voice says I have spent almost 200 days on GRAW2 and 250 Days on GRAW)

The diffrence is she started playing and finished the game with the same xbox and hard drive, However my xbox went belly up and I replaced it with an Elite and got rid of my old hard drive,

So Kimi is that whats caused it ?

p.s I got screwed with R6V:2 and the PFC Achievment too, Way to go UBISOFT....

I just called ubi tech support and they said this is te FIRST they have heard of this!!!! How can this be true....I thought there was a dev/mod kimi_ looking into it and others said they have called/emailed as well about this glitch.

Now I dont know what to think as gb155 said his wife got AFTER the DLC...

Hey gb155..what was you/your wifes last achievement before single player master?

I suggest more calls need to be made.......perhaps a lead or supervisor....co it actually get's documented

I too have recently felt the heartbreak of the "Single Player Master" Achievement not unlocking upon getting "Mission Accomplished" as my final single player achievevment.

I did an account recovery as per the trouble shooting tips. This did not seem to work, although as I have all the achievemnets I have no idea how "SPM" will get triggered.

I have a similar tale as GB155 as I had a console go RROD on me. My retailer replaced it and I retained my old hard drive placing it on the new console. I have unlocked the vast majority of achievements on the new console and all the DLC ones though.

If I look in "Ghost Headquarters" for your achievement status I found that while I had unlocked ALL the achievements that had a corresponding tab on my XBL profile there are 6 or 7 at the bottom of the menu that show "LOCKED" with the corresponding icon of a lock?!?!?!

Anyone have any idea what these are? (Aside from an error that is likely causing the Single Player Master to elude us.)

I think you got it, My wifes all but one are unlocked, There are 4 in mine, 3 and one I would assume to be the single player master, I am on it now, I will let you know ASAP, It looks like im missing Challenge 1 &4 and act 1 low risk (assume these are from old hard drive saves)

Just done the ones I done have unlocked in the headquarters and they are still not unlocked, I raised a ticket 6 days ago, Kimi has been aware for almost 6 weeks, COME ON.......

My other friend answered and stated the achievement does pop up next after whatever achievement you obtained last. And he got the achievement before getting the DLC's.

Has anyone tried deleting the DLC and then doing those achievements?

I have tried deleting all content (DLC's) and recovering my tag, played through Elevated risk again after doing so.....nothing. Even if you delete the DLC, your console still has already acknowledged it was there because of the achievement additions....even without the dlc on my hdd, the changes were already implmented...and obviously you cannot delete achievemnts or your game history. And again, if the achievement( S.p.m.) is dependent on the subsequent "unlocking" of another achievement (the last solo ach) it wont matter as they have already been unlocked and cant be "re" unlocked. We need a patch to fix, or it's something else not mentioned I believe.....I dunno

Okay, now I have tried unlocking the SPM on my 2nd xbox.

I tried it because I recall that I have not signed on under my profile on my 2nd xbox for a long time, and I was right. I was missing many more achievements than I had completed on my 1st xbox.

Now, to be clear...I sat there for three hours, toiling very carefully through the single player achievements, in an attempt to unlock the SPM achievement itself. I did this all while offline, because going online would update my profile, which would nullify what I was trying to do.

I have some rather upsetting news to share, and that is that the SPM achievement did not unlock on my 2nd xbox!

So what, what makes this a big deal you ask?

1st, I have not downloaded any DLC's on my 2nd xbox, so this solidifies that the DLC is not a true factor effecting this strange behavior.

2ndly, Chaosphynx1 is correct, it is not dependent on one specific achievement as I previously thought. My 3rd friend confirmed this as he got his SPM with an achievement other than the mission accomplished achievement(Which is what I incorrectly assumed).

3rd, I too tried recovering my account, and this did not work. But, I could not recover on my 2nd xbox, because it would have brought over the new achievements, which would have screwed up what I was trying to do (which was getting the same achievements over).

Hopefully the mods can compell Ubi to patch the game. Heck I would even settle for it being worth 0 gamerscore and opening for everyone who plays the game at this point.

Well, not to criticize, but this is very disheartening.

The achievements were definitely that something special that attracted me to this game...but this glitch that remains unfixed after so long now is a thorn in my side. Seeing the lack of importance being given to this is not us
(the customers) being critical, it is just us asking for something that is broken to be fixed.

I played the heck out of this game. I even purchased two copies, one for each xbox360 that I have.

I am not trying to be unfair, but you guys are the programmers, not us. Can't you tell us what you have looked into thus far, rather than "we are still looking into it"?

In spite of the above, thanks for a great game.

They patched the PFC achievement glitch in RSV2, so hopefully they can get on the ball with this one.
