There have been no other reports of any issues when trying to connect online with the game so it doesn't seem there is a problem with the servers. As you'd expect, if it was a server issue there would be a bunch of people reporting the same issue and at present that is not happening.
What exactly is happening when you try and connect? Do you get some kind of error message? Please provide as much detail as possible and we can try and figure out what's going on.
You'll need an xbox live account, and your xbox plugged into your router or modem - (the same thing your computer is plugged into).
If you have a credit card just go online - by telling your game to go to multiplayer and select the xbox live option - and it will prompt you every step of the way to get the live account.
Better still: If you have a one month voucher for xbox live (they come in a lot of games but usually expire within 3 months) you can use the code under the "rub-off" strip to get a one month trial without using your credit card.
I had the same issue on Sunday June 14th with the Ubisoft network being down playing GRAW2. A friend who lives in the same city as I but who is on a different network had the same issue. He has cable modem and I have DSL.
We couldn't connect to the Ubisoft network. I looked on the Unisoft website for any outages but nothing was reported by an admin. I saw princebadnewz's post and wanted to respond but didn't have an account and didn't have time to set one up.
I could see PSN, get into the PSN store but not connect to Ubisoft's network. Gave me a timeout error.
I have been noticing alot of issues with the connection. For instance - I would display all the games being played and the health bar would be (1) red. I would back out and then back in the game list and the health bars would be (4/5)green. This happens several times a day.
I also get dropped from games when my friend doesn't or he will get dropped from games when I don't.
My DSL is stable - I host a FTP site as well as VPN. I never get dropped when transferring files over the network.
The issue with getting into the Ubisoft network is an intermittent issue - it has happened before.
