Hi everyone. The devs are aware of the issue and we are asking that you contact our Technical Support department, who is now gathering as much information as possible to find out what's going on.

Providing them with info on any issue you may have personally experienced will help us to replicate the problem and find a resolution.

Already done - although I haven't heard anything back from them other than the initial canned response (y'know check for disc scratches etc.) in almost a week. I'm waiting for them to ask me for any other information.

Ubisoft, Im a HUGE fan of your range of games. I got the lot...Splinter Cell DA, R6 Vegas, GRAW2 and I've been playing them all throughout the years back to the original Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6.

But there is a MASSIVE problem with GRAW2!!!

This has happened to me AND my friend and MANY, MANY more it seems...we both started playin GRAW2 the day it was released and it worked fine for a few days (playing for a couple of hours a day) then it started to freeze on both SP and MP games.

It gradually got worse and then the 3 red lights appeared!

I looked on the internet for advice. My 360 was on it's side in a corner so I placed it flat on a table with good air ventilation and I also removed the 360's plug from a socket in an extention cable and plugged it straight into a wall socket. But it had no effect and the problem got worse and worse. Now the red lights appear as soon as you switch the machine on now, all the time, it barely loads the menu screen now without freezing. I have never had any problems with any other games!

My 360 is now back at Microsoft for repair but what happens when I get it back? Will it happen again? Please advise!

The "three red lights" is a clear-cut sign of hardware failure.. You did the right thing by sending it in for repair.

OK now I have the other major bug,Getting dropped in the middle of the damn multiplayer-co op.Just thought id drop a line while I wait for my freinds to send me another invite.I like posting my bugs here instead of going through the loopty loop tech support

This is so frustrating.

First I pay $60+ for a game that locks up CONSTANTLY. But then I come to the website and am insulted by a support page that says it's just my XBOX. Then I find an obscure post here from somebody at UBI that says to contact Technical Support, but there is no obvious way to contact them at the support site.

I wish I had read about the game's issues before I purchased this POS.

BUYER BEWARE: Do not buy GRAW2 for the XBOX 360.

great so were in the game ( not GRAW2 ) but instead pass the buck...Ubisoft are going to say its hardware problem and microsoft are going to blame ubisoft, in the meantime we are left wondering if the games are actually gonna work. I am too suffering from freeze in single player after about 5 - 10 mins of playing. I have been unable to complete the training mission or the first level of the game as it freezes and the only way to clear problem is to switch off my 360. I have no other problems with any other games including gears of war ( which i tried straight after ) so i think it's fair to say that the problem lies with the game.

plus were being asked to advise tech support but i see no link to email them are you asking us to call a £1 a minute line to tell you guys what is the problem when it is very clear from your own forum.....some one should raise this whole issue with trading standards

Unfortunately I have the issue too. No red lights, no other games do this on my console, and I've tried coolers, unplugging components, but no matter what it locks up. I have yet to finish the training, though some times i make it up to the 2nd charge portion, but most of the time I don't even make it to the first combat portion. It does lock up in MP, but not nearly as much. No specific portion, however what's strange is that when I "first" started playing I could barely make it 30 seconds, now I can make it farther in the training so I'm not sure if that helps either. First I though it was an overheating issue as it would seem to crash more when it has been running for a while, but then at times when it's been running four hours on other games and even trying this game back and forth it goes longer then I would have expected, given the issue of course. Man I really hope you can fix this as I don't want to have to return this but it's pretty darn close to that. I have another friend who's having the same issue and we've been trying to get some live time together but it may have to be a different title.

You guys could always clear your 360's memory cache

Go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Performing this function will also clear any software updates.

thats a good call, and somewhere in the 20+ page thread (maybe around page 10 or so - I don't blame you for not looking thru the whole thing!) that was brought up and most of us(if not all)tried it to no avail.....

I think over the 20+ pages and 2 weeks its safe to say that we've tried pretty much everything.....

- Is your game CD Scratched or Damaged?

1. Inspect the underside of the CD closely.
2. If their are any smudge marks, dirt, or scratches, clean the disk.

NOTE: When cleaning CDs, wipe from the center of the disc to the edge using a soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use a circular motion. Also, do not use paper cloth which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks.

3. Insert the CD and try playing again.

- Do you have more then one controller plugged in?

1. Try removing all but one controller from the system before loading the game again.
2. If the game loads, there may be a problem with one of the other controllers.

If you continue to have this problem after attempting all the tips above, then you should take the game back to the retailer and swap it for another copy. If you continue to have this problem with a new copy of the game, then the problem is most likely with your XBOX. At this point you should call Microsoft @ 1-800-4MY-XBOX. It is our understanding that if you are having this problem with more than just one game, they will replace any defective XBOX hardware for free.

This is not a question just a report.I hope you have been checking the forums because that is where all of your error reports are laid out plain in real time.I along with many basically cannot play your game.Single player freezes my console in training and if I skip training it still freezes.Its not my disk,console,internet connection,wall outlet or television.NO OTHER GAMES FREEZE MY CONSOLE.Your game though it may be fun on the off chance it works is not so awesome and advanced it is showing faulty consoles.If my console can handle Gears of War for hours and hours with no problem it should handle yours.This game has been a bitter disapointment.Up until the past couple of days I could play multiplayer ok.Now I cant even play that without drops and freezes.We have been reporting and
posting for a solid week and it wasnt until I contacted the BBB and instructed others with these issues to do the same did I get any kind of response from ubi.Please fix your game.You have put the customer in an involuntary beta tester role and it is unacceptable.

Its funny how all the tech support replies are from "Jason" too. The least they could do it put an algorithm in there to put random names in the reply bar - At least try and make us not think its a computer reply. The more i think about it, after not hearing anything from a human at customer support for over a week, I think this might be a stalling tactic, waiting for this to blow over.

What do you say HangtownSOG? We doing our part, howabout you?

Clearly its a stalling tactic because they have no clue how to fix this.Do they think we are that stupid?Truly, its an insult.
