ok, I just installed the game and started playing. in the training mission, I complete all objectives and go in helicopter . mission done. when i go the next screen to choose mission I cant go to the next one. Well if he installed the game, then he must have a hard drive. So I'm guessing that he is either playing it on PC or PS3 as those are the only platforms where you have to install.
Isn't it just that you have to choose to play the campaign rather than trying to select an individual mission? I think the missions only unlock once you play through them in campaign mode.

You need to create a game profile separate to that of your gamertag. Some games automatically save a campaign using your gamertag as a profile, GRAW however does not do this so you need to create a profile in which your campaign will save and then allow you to progress forward.
