I was bored today and thought I'd search for some cool Ghost Recon videos on youtube.com. I'm sorry moderators for the amount of links I posted, but since this thread is tied to the next Recon, I was hoping the Devs might take a look at some of these videos and think about the possibilties of combining features from all the series, especially the ghillie suit. Ghost Recon 1 (Devs, please pay special attention to the end of this video when the speakers says "swiftly, silently, invisibly" and watch how he says invisibly as soon as they show a sniper in a ghillie suit. Those are the roots of Ghost Recon. Please don't stray from those 3 things in the next Recon title.

Another good sniper video. I think this is of Canadian and American Snipers. The soundtrack is from Ghost Recon, very very cool. And those who think ghillie suits are useless in Urban enviroments whould look at how good the ghillie suit looks in an urban enviroment.

A personal suggestion for the next Ghost Recon. Possibly take some aspects of The Unit. After all both the Ghost's and the 303rd Logistics (aka. The Unit) are Army. Would be kind of cool to see some characteristics from both in the next Ghost Recon. I've asked before about the possibility of in the camo selections, that there be a civilian style camo. So then you could set up the teams as blue team(ghosts), yellow team(insurgents), or blue team(civilian style ghosts) yellow team(rebel style camo(tiger strip)). Not everyone will agree, but I think this would be kind of cool.

The devs should really check out this video. What if Ghost Recon could be played with Wii style weapon conrtollers? Well in this video, you get a good sense of what Ghost Recon could be like if there were weapons designed as controllers. Check it out. Couldn't stop laughing, but found my self thinking about how fun this would be.

Felt the same way. Looking back, they were all classics, even GR2 and GRSS. Played an insane amount of clan matches on those two titles.

Why dont they just have 3 levels of online difficulty.

Recruit - Arcade type action with OTS and aim assists.

Veteran - More simulation but still with OTS.

Elite - Fpv or/and Fpwvn and complete simulation settings.

That way everyone is happy.

The three online levels are not a good idea. The GRAW games were built around the OTS system. If the developers reverted back to FPS the game will be compleatly different. If they want create another FPS they should create a new traditional Ghost Recon, but GRAW should remain OTS

The series is not Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW). The series is "Ghost Recon."

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) is done.

Ubi has said their is not another GRAW in the works.

There may be another "Ghost Recon" though. Ubi has said their is "no news to report" about another Ghost Recon. In other words, "no comment."

WhiteKnight - I don't know what you heard about boss battles in GR2, but there was nothing I would call boss battles.
