I am knew to the forums to ubisoft because im never really on here much but i am a big fan of the tom clancy series and my favorite game is ghost recon considering i have every game they have ever made. so i have so really great game ideas that will kick ass and bring ghost recon to the top of the list.

now first of all i think mexico and panama were great places but now i think it would be a good idea for multiple enviroments and conflicts. now i dont really care that much about GRAWs single player because thats not why i play GRAW even though ive beeten the game.
Back on track, i think we should place differnt conflicts in multiplayer for 3-5 levels in each conflict. we should also base them on real conflicts but conflicts with alot of enviroments such as russia and the old soviet countries(middle east).or maybe north korea vs south korea or say south america and mexico like in the previous games. that would go along with the camos in the GRAWs. i mean seriosly i dont need to where snow camo in panama or black camo in mexico. |

another thing i wanted to talk about is character classes. every body should be able to pick a weapons class and a profession class. like weapons class as in sniper and professions class as in Engineer.
|
||||
|
here are the classes...
Weapon Classes = Sniper,Rifleman,Grenaidier,Machinegunner,Close Quarters. Profession Classes = Medic,Scout,Engineer,SpecOps,Soldier |
||||
|
every proffession class has a total of 4 pieces of equipment and the weapon class of machine guuner gets an RPG and the close quaters class(SMG gunner) has a shotgun. so hear are there 4 equipment pieces.

Engineer =
C4 x2, Claymore x2, Bomb disarmer, Wrench for vehicles... Scout = Heart beat sensor, Flash Bang x2, UAV, Silencer for every weapon possibly silenced... Soldier = Claymore x2, Bonus ammunition,(depending on weapon) Bonus Frag grenades x2, health kit x2... SpecOps = Air Strike, Bonoculars, Laser sight, (increased accuracy) Radar Jammer... Medic = Health kit infinite, Painkillers x4, (increases your or your teamates total health for a period of time) Ammo share x4, ( gives your teammates ammo for primary weapons) Smoke grenades x2 |

Good ideas, but I have to say no on the heart beat sensors. They were a plague on the original recon and on island thunder. Not alot of people liked them.
As far as a weapons class for close quarters....recon isn't about close quarters combat, and I hope it never is. It's more about fighting out in the open. Sometimes you'll run into some cqb areas, but if you are implying something like SMG's or shotguns for this class, you will be at a huge disadvantage in a firefight when trying to engage a hostile threat that is beyond your weapons typical range. Plus under the current Rifleman class you will find the MP5, which is the only SMG we really need for Recon. Shotguns, I wouldn't mind having it as a secondary in place of my pistol, or like in COD4, M4 primary, shotgun secondary, and 1911 for my sidearm. I do like alot of your ideas, but the CQB class is not needed for Ghost Recon. And we definately don't need anykind of radar, that will only make this game more like Halo, which I hope RSE tries very hard to stay away from. We don't need anymore little kids coming over here asking "how do I jump, where's the radar,etc etc." The UAV is perfect for this style of play, if you choose to have it on in the room, it's more realistic. Not saying a HBS isn't, but I've never seen, or heard of one in modern times yet. |

Medic...cool Scout....only if you can wear a ghillie suit. SpecOps?.....Ghost's are already special ops, whether they are a medic, rifleman, sniper, gunner etc. I think you're looking at Ghost Recon too much from the prospective of games like the Battlefield series and Call of Duty 4. I'm good with the current R, G, A, M. Change the M from Marksmen to S for Sniper, and make the M class a Medic and that would be badass. |

I dont want set classes. I want to tailor my soldier to what I need. I want to pick the camo he has, the weapons he has, the ammo he has, the equipement he has, the face paint he has. And I want there to be consequences to my loadouts. If I take night vision goggles, binoculars, 3 fragmentation grenades, 2 smoke grenades then that means I can only take 4 magzines for my primary weapons and no secondary weapon at all. Or I can load out my primary with 10 magazines. Or I can take 2 primarys and 3 magazines for each. I want to put thought into my soldier and tailor him for the mission in hand.

In multi-player mode:
Is it to much to ask to get a descent rifle with (7.62) ammo? A high precision (scoped) Heckler & Koch A3G3, with a suppressor and one without. |

paladin dont start this again it was going on for like 3 pages on your thread lol |

Or GR5 if you count Desert Siege. Xbox/Xbox360=GR4, PC=GR5, and on playstation I never kept up with that because they had some off the wall title I saw in their selection once. |

DS is part of the original GR franchise and not a seperate entity. For the PC it was the first mission pack and came out before Island Thunder.
With GRAW2 as a full game according to Ubi and not an expansion pack, it is the 4th game in the franchise. "Do not build your community around a game.... Build your game around a community" Staff GhostRecon.net | Aggression WhiteKnight77 | Blackfoot Studios |

GRAW 2 was the expansion pack to GARW, everyone knows this. Same as Vegas 2 is the expansion pack to Vegas 1. Ubi just charged full price for this because they need as much money as possible to stop EAs takeover.

I think the term 'add-on' is rapidly becoming outdated not to mention causes confusion among those which differing ideas of its meaning especially when discussing games on PC or console where the meaning does differ greatly.
Now its more of a sequel to a game within the series, at least I personally feel that better describes it without the cross platform confusion. Assuming that description is more apt then as WK says DS is/was an add-on which for console formed part of both GR & GRIT as its maps were split between the two games. GRAW 2 however is a add-on aka sequel to GRAW. Does that make sense?? Oh well I hope so, I know what I meant anyway hehe |
