How hard would it be to have a capture and replay feature.
Would it be on the player that selected record my game? Would it be record complete match from every players screen? Would be awesome to capture some of the effects and ingame play without having to connect my xbox360 to my PC via a Capture port. Ideas anyone |

Have you had a look at Halo3, M8? Not a great game for me, bought it tried it sold it, but it had a theatre feature that I thought was really good.
Stored on your bungie.net profile was a replay of the whole online multiplayer game you had played. I think you could hold 20 matches. Not only could you view the replay through your own characters perspective with usual vcr controls, you could view it through any of the other players too. Pretty cool, but that wasn't even the best of it. The smartest feature was you could fly a camera round in 3-D anywhere on the map during the action, and view what was happening, take stills, rewind, move somewhere else. Like what you did? Have a look down on your heroics, and move the camera to get a better view as the action unfolds. Thought a player was good? View what they did from the best angle and pick up tips. Was a good idea, and could be real fun for GR tactical heads, but would need to be switchable to protect clans during clan matches from losing their element of surprise. |

Halo 3 was that bad i almost gave up gaming. LOL j/k but it wasnt that good. I have been recording ingame play using a Tv Capture card and connecting the AV cable, its not that good for Quality but it has worked for me in the past. To be able to do this ingame recording without using my PC would be magic. For recording other team players ingame action i just set myself to observe and switch between players view during the match/game. Some examples can been seen on my website in the video section. Hard drive space for an xbox360 is always an issue so the need to be able to transfer the video file will fix that. I know this does not make the game play any better but i feel it would be a funky feature used by many. Also clans could use it as a training tool to see what went wrong when they lost to the clan "A Means 2 An End" lol j/k but funny. |
