Most people will agree that the co-op collection map packs improved GRAW 2 considerably, but unfortuately they came too late to keep the community intact. If we had have had the means ourselfs in the form of mission and map editor I believe the gameplay problems would have been overlooked and the Ghost Recon community would still be going strong. So lets hope they give us the means to sustain the community for the next Ghost Recon game with features like these:

1. Map editor - ( ideally ) the ability to change the height and shape of the terrain, the abillity to add different textures to different surfaces, the ability to drag and drop items anywhere on the map, and the ability to set time of day and weather patterns.

2. Mission editor - ( ideally ) the ability to use shipped or user created maps and design any single player or co-op mission you can think with a large number of default ojectives, triggers, ai pattern behaviours and mission perimeters.

3. Gameplay editor - ( ideally ) the ability to move and tweak objectives/spawns for online play, add in mission perimeters, change movement speed, bullet damage, the viscosity of materials ( water, bushes, inclines, etc ) injury levels, recoil, etc.

4. Easy Content Sharing - each map/mission/gameplay setting can be easily shared via P2P. Also the content appears in 2 different download sources. One showing the latest content created by people on your friends list. And the other being the top rated content from all Xbox Live users.

Question:
How important do you think extensive user created content is to the level of success and lifespan of the Ghost Recon community in regards to the Next Ghost Recon?

Choices:
Vital
Very important
A little important
Not Important at all

I don't think it requires map editing because what happens is you end up like Far Cry and have to sift through thousands of maps thrown together by people before finding some really good ones.

I really enjoy the maps that the teams have come up with.

I can agree with customizing your own mission for maps. That would be cool.

And then I would like to say I wouldn't mind haveing more character/equipment customization. Like ghillie suits, gun attachments, custom camo that works better then vegas, and just camo that doesn't glow compared to what the map looks like.

Yes there will be thousands of maps but with the user rating system the cream should rise to the top.

It's important. Dude the games won't be that good if it wasn't vital to make a game
