Chaosphynx, when you re-did the tutorial recently, did you make sure that you perfected all the challenges on the first try? If you fail any of them while doing the tutorial, you'll need to start over and get them all on the first try.

I did get them on first try.....I still have 6 locked achievements in ghost headquarters...is there something I'm missing?!?! Please help!

I have a couple friends with this issue and I'm avoiding playing single player because I'm thinking I'm going to have the same problem.

Not to jab at anyone, as I am just thinking aloud at this point.

But, because it seems very clear that this was a problem caused by the addition of downloaded content, why not just patch the game by looking for specific achievements and have it unlock the SPM based on that?

In all due fairness, I'm not a game programmer; this could be a tall order to fill.

But, I was just wondering.

Is there going to be a patch coming out so this achievement will unlock I have redone everything it said I was missing in one shot and passed everything the first time I did it and still no achievement.

Exactly what I was thinking. It should be fixable like R6V2 was with the private achievement.

Hi MightyMango, we checked on your friend's tag (ZeroDesolation) and unfortunately because he would need to re-do both the tutorial and Act 1, this workaround will not work for him. If you'd like us to check on your gamertag, let me know.

Hi Kimi, It worked!
I started a new game but once the training mission was complete the achievement unlocked.

I appreciate yourself and Ubi providing an active forum for customer service/trouble shooting for a game that is realitively far into it's lifecycle.

How can I get this to unlock? So far as I know, this "workaround" should have worked for me.......the same 6 locked icons still appear in ghost headquarters.....I have completed the tutorial perfect several times. When I first played the game...I earned the challenges 1-4 and tutorial complete in order....WTF

ok did that completed everything perfect to the tee and no acheivement. i did get it on a different gamer tag with no dlc at all. it still shows on ghost head quarters locked and the only tutorial unlocked is number three

There are no other work-around's to try for this?

I even tried this on my other xbox with a GT the same as my original and then tried to recover my GT to the 2nd xbox. But, when I recovered it, it just made another GT with the xbox live added to it.

So I had two GT's, one with and one without the xbox live part added to it.

This is very disheartening, as anyone who played the original GRAW would have enough knowledge to just jump in and play GRAW2. It seems kind of ridiculous that we have to depend on the training mission to unlock this achievement.

You know what...after thinking about it...

Should we expect Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2 to have the same type of issues with DLC additions?

I only ask because the Rainbow 6 Las Vegas glitch with the private achievement seems to have been run into after downloading the red and black add-ons.

i'm curious, because if so, I will not pull down any DLC until after I complete the game. LOL

So what are my options for getting this last single player master achievement?

Do I need to delete my save file and start from scratch on the campaign again?

Do I have to uninstall any of the map packs as well in reguards to starting over?

or do I just need to wait until the game is patched and I get it in about a month from now?

I'd really like to know if they are going to put out a patch to fix this or if I'm going to have to replay everything again. I don't want to start from scratch if I know they will be patching the game. I can wait for it if I know it's coming.

I have an idea. It would require heavy administration, which makes me think that nobody would go for it but hear this out.

What if MS would blank out a person's score, then allow someone to play the game locally for the specific achievements, then have the person connect to XBL, and upload the current achievements? couldn't that work?

Yeah, I know...that is a TALL ORDER to expect, but I am just trying to think of a solution rather than just complainin' and whinin' about it. :-/

Chaosphynx1, yours should have worked. Since it didn't, there could be another factor that we aren't aware of that's affecting this...

Let me make sure I understood you correctly. I know the work around mentioned at the beginning of this topic will not work for me. You're also telling me that nothing else I mentioned will work either? I can't remove the entire game from my system, put it back in and let it start from scratch and play through the campaign right then, unlocking everything, and you're saying that will still not unlock the achievement for me?

What if I did it offline and never connected to LIVE. I should be able to get it that way and then when I connect up to live, it should update showing I've got that achievement. Would that not work either?

There has got to be a way to get all 1250 in this game or MS needs to do a review of everyone missing that achievement, see who qualifies for it and update their achievements to show we have it.

That or Ubisoft needs to put out a patch that fixes this. Which would be the easiest to do but I haven't see a reply back yet that says they are working to patch the game. So that concerns me a lot.

Some of how this happens is still a mystery from what I see. They mentioned that there may be other factors that effect this issue, that they may not be aware of yet.

but many of us do feel like you do in that we are all hoping for a patch too.

But above all, they are trying.

wow! I can't believe playing offline won't work either. I'm glad I didn't go try to do it before all this.
