Thanks to all your feedback, we have identified some factors which contribute to this issue. Below are some notes on how to work around the achievement. However, this will not work for everyone, so please see below to see if yours can be fixed. Also, if you haven't attempted to earn all 1250 points, please try to earn the Single Player Master achievement before proceeding further with the additional achievements.

If you would like to try the fix without reading the details, the easiest way is to simply re-do the tutorial and complete all challenges during the same time (you must complete the challenges on the first try). This should fix those who completed the game in the order of starting with the tutorial and singleplayer. Please note that even when you complete the requirements for these achievements there will not be any pop-ups saying you have earned these achievements, if you ever have to retry ("restart workshop") the progress toward the workaround will be lost.

For the rest who want/need details, here goes: The issue is that the game will only look at the most 50 recent achievements you have earned. This wasn't an issue in the original game but once the additional DLC achievements are thrown into the mix it begins to cause issues. If you go into your in-game profile (Campaign -> Ghost Headquarters -> Achievements) and compare it to your Xbox Live achievements, you will notice that there may be two or three achievements that show unlocked on the Live side but locked on the game side. This means you need to re-do the achievements in game to get SP Master to unlock.

An additional factor is that this workaround of "re-earning" the necessary achievements will only work if the achievements can be obtained within a single mission. This is why for those of you who completed the tutorial and challenges first, this will work. For those who may have completed the tutorial but not all challenges, and jumped into Act 1, it might not. Confused yet? For reference here are potential scenarios where it will and will not work:





Hope this helps at least most of you to obtain that one last pesky achievement. If you are still confused whether it's possible for you to use this workaround, feel free to post your information here, including your gamertag and which of your in-game achievements seem to be locked, and myself or someone else here can try to take a look at it. I am sure that I am not thinking this through, so forgive my ignorance for asking, but...how do you check your in-game achievements, without seeing the live side? My profile is an XBL only profile.

I hope that this workaround works for me.
I will probably be trying it this weekend.

Ok, I see the problem on my part.

It does not show my tutorial challenges.

also I somehow completed all my acts except act-1 on low risk. I only played on hard, and my online achievements show i got it,but on single player it does not show it.

Kimi, can these be played through the quick mission? or do I have to start a new game?

Also, should i delete my saved game data when starting a new game??

I ask about deleting data because i just finished playing straight through acts 1 and 2 but i didn't see my achievements pop up.

i'm disappointed...i stayed up all night trying to get this last achievements...it's 6am now...off to bed..i ...must...get...rest... :-(

from the main menu, select campaign, then select Ghost's Headquarters, then select achievements.
This will show you the actual achievements that the single player game-mode has given you.

It doesn't include what xbox live thinks you have. This makes it easy to see what achievements you really need to complete your single player master achievement.

I was wondernig if you could help me with this, my in game shows everything being unlocked except tutorial walkthrough and challenges 1 through 4,my dashboard shows all unlocked excepts sinple playermaster.....so should I just redo the tutorial?? My gamertag is Chaosphynx....let me know

Alright, tried to redo tutorial perfect with all challenges complete....it still didnt unlock...then tried on quick mission still didnt unlock. The first time I played the game, I got all challenges and tutorial complete achievements....those are the ones that do not appear in my ghost headquarters menu (6 total= 5 tutorial and the spm)) everything else is there...am I doing something wrong?

According to Kimi, this would not work for you as it shows like you jumped right into act1.

Kimi said this was only a workaround if the tutorial showed up as being done, and that it was not "the" fix. Maybe a fix is still in the works, but at least she did confirm for us that the problem was due to the downloaded content.

But I didnt jump right into act 1...I completed the tutorial and the cahllenges first when the game first came out....those were the first five achievements I unlocked??? Kinda confused

Chaosphynx, when you re-did the tutorial recently, did you make sure that you perfected all the challenges on the first try? If you fail any of them while doing the tutorial, you'll need to start over and get them all on the first try.

Yes, I re completed the tutorial and scored perfect on all four challenges without retrying. I also tried it from quick mission, and from a new saved game....completing all challenges, first try, on all three attempts.

So since I am not missing Act 1, why didn't this work for me? Like I said b4, I have the tutorial completed and challenges 1-4 not showing in game.....is this not a scenario where the aboved mentioned workaround would work?

I do have all the single player XBL achievements unlocked however there is 5-6 locked spots in my achievement status in Ghost Haedquarters?!? My gamertag is the same as my user name here. It looks like you need all the tutorial challenges, so this should work for you. Don't forget that when you re-do it you MUST complete the challenges on the first try without failing. Good luck!

Out of curiosity, is it really difficult to just write a patch that looks at all the single player achievements on live, which would then unlock the local achievements in the headquarters?

Or what about a patch that could just reset the local achievements and on the next boot of the game perhaps tell you that you need to play the missions again, to unlock them?

I'm just asking because the more research I did on this problem, the more I realized that it's been known of for a while now.
