Ive had this game for awhile and i used to play it on this same computer with no problem.

Well i felt like playing some graw2 so i installed it and installed patches, but when i try to load the game, the loading screen gets half way and then blue screens with the error (0x0000008e).

Ive searched for help but havent found any.

Hard disk damage
General hardware configuration problems with the BIOS, the memory, the hard disk, or with other devices
Incompatible device driver
Incompatible software

Try re-installing the game if you think it's not your hardware or software related. It's possible the game files somehow became corrupted during a crash!
