In GRAW2, in the last level, does anyone know if he lives or dies?
I know he was EVACed, but from everyone flipping out about him needing to stay alive, I got the impression he didn't make it. |

Captain Mitchell should be a Major General by now or at least a Colonel. He was probably an upcoming officer from private in the GR series but he emerged as a Captain in Final Assault GR2, in Summit Strike GR2 (its expansion packs), and still a Captain in GRAW 1 - 2?
Come on guys promote him already for then next GR. -Cire 5th |

It says in his in-game bio that he declined promotion just long enough to be deployed.
Can't remember what he was promoted to but I think it was Major. |

It does? Cool, I am going to go back to those bios and take a look again. But it would be cool in the actual game he was acknowledged at being a higher rank.
Besides, who declines promotion? Do you even get to decline a promotion. Any, Cheers. |

I would decline a promotion. I don't want to be an old fart general sitting in a war room with other old farts discussing politics and warfare. I'd rather at least be doing something about it. |

And hopefully despite rumors, Sam Fisher isn't really president...
That would be awkward. |

in the book it says that mitchell is general of the JSF.

So, I guess you have to sort through misinformation your bosses give you, just like we do? We were happy to hear that the US forces are being led by our old friend (and GRAW veteran) Scott Mitchell, who’s been put in charge of the “Joint Strike Force.” http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1816/Tom-Clancys-EndWar/p1/ "We worked with the Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell teams to incorporate characters and entities into EndWar to make it feel like part of the Clancy universe," said Gerighty. U.S. Army Captain Scott Mitchell of the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games is now a commander in EndWar. Third Echelon, the division that Sam Fisher worked for in the Splinter Cell games, provides the player with Intel in EndWar. http://www.localtechwire.com/business/local_tech_wire/news/story/2416143 Meanwhile, the hero of the Ghost Recon unit, Scott Mitchell, has received a major promotion and has been put in charge of a joint task force combining all branches of the armed forces into one elite rapid response force. "It's like Delta Force only battalion-sized," stated Michael de Plater, attempting to avoid the obvious Chuck Norris reference. http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/tom-clancys-endwar/841155p2.html Also, OXM print magazine in an interview with a Ubi employee confirmed this as well. So, what is the correct information? ------------------------------- "I just blew your mind, didn't I? The ol' universe isn't the warm, comfy place it was seven seconds ago, is it...?" - Bucky Kat |
