I am having issues with my gamer tag, one of my gamer tags will work on xbox live but the other two won't. The game freezes when trying to play on live with these gamer tags. They were all gold memberships. The first gamer tag lasted a month with out freezing, the second a week, the third is going on two days and still working but i suspect the game will begin to freeze with it. I have a brand new xbox 360 elite, and i have a brand new copy of GRAW 2. I have Time Warner Road Runner internet connection and i had them come out and test everything, and everything was fine. I can play all my other games with my original gamer tags on xbox live just not GRAW 2. I have heard of others having this problem.

Has any one else experienced this problem? this might be why it is hard to find people to play with, it's probably because no one can get on live any more.

Yeah it's been happening with mine as well. I can sign in on my original tag (OUT FOX EM), but as soon as I try to load up the multiplayer it freezes. Now if I load up the multiplayer part first, it'll freeze once it's done signing in. It does this literally every single time, without exception.

I've had to create a dummy account (OUT F0X EM with a zero), which looks the same in the lobby, but obviously I don't have access to my friend's list.

Onto the troubleshooting...

I have also had this same thing happen! After 2 to 3 weeks on my other one month account "FirstPersonGRAW" this started!!! I was unable to play GRAW2 for the last couple of weeks that the account was gold! I have not had any issues w/ my main account...yet *fingers crossed* or this new account.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one, but I'm also sad I'm not the only one. This issue seems to be isolated with the multiplayer part of GRAW 2. I thought perhaps it was just my gamertag, but now that I that see it's happening to others, it looks to be a bigger problem. If it's happening with 2nd and 3rd tags as well, then it should definitely be looked at. "Should" and "will" are two very different words though.

Yup mine is doing tha same my gamertag wont work so i made another one it worked about 5 hours i also have 2 xboxs and my gamertag wont work with either one SOMEONE PLEASE HELP... If you dont know what to do Call and cuss out 1-800-4my-xbox The more people that call they'll be more apt to fixx it

Lethal...perhaps change the title of this post to "Multiplayer freezes everytime with my gamertag" or something...I had a hunch that my problem with my 2nd gamertag was the same one your title described, but I wasn't sure and almost skipped past this thread.

I tell you what...if I have to pay for the upcoming dlc and my main account becomes unplayable on multiplayer I will be demanding a refund for the content and the game!

The same thing happened to me tonight, after playing GRAW2 for a good 5hrs last night.

I put in GRAW2, select Multiplayer from the main menu, and the whole Xbox instantly freezes on the load screen.

I cleared my cache only to repeatedly have the same thing happen over and over, and never being able to get on.

I hopped online, found this thread, and created a new XBL account with my free month of Gold card I got with my repaired 360 last week.

With that new account I was able to get on GRAW2 multiplayer instantly.

This is unacceptable. People have paid $59.99 for the game, x number of dollars on the new maps, and invested countless hours in playing. This problem needs to be taken seriously, investigated and corrected swiftly.

Not everyone on XBL has a free card just laying around.

My gt that is freezing is SvNs OME6A.

Fix it, Ubisoft.

Pure garbage. This just happened a couple of days ago to my BRAND NEW gamertag (which is now a week old). That's right. I bought a year membership because my OTHER gamertag is corrupt (see my earlier postings in this thread). Well, now my new tag is corrupt, aka $50 down the drain.

But guess what the good news is: I started playing on my brother's gamertag on a different Xbox so I could actually play the damn game I paid for, and now HIS gamertag corrupted today as well.

This is lovely. Not a word from Ubisoft, but LOTS of words from their customers. I mention this to people on my friends list, and what do you know? Some of them had the same problem! <insert gasp here>

Now, considering that the mutiplayer portion of GRAW2 is the ONLY thing "corrupt" in all of these situations (including people I know that it's happened to), it needs to be looked into and fixed promptly. VERY promptly. I'll see if I can at least get an acknowledgment from someone from Ubisoft here in the next couple of days before I start calling people. I hate calling them as much as they hate me calling.

This issue is real, and it needs to be looked at. I won't be ignored anymore.

Not really the solution you're looking for, but last time I checked they will refund the balance of your Live subscription if you call up customer support and cancel.

Guess what happened to me tonight? Yep, you guessed it, corrupt profile for GRAW2 Multiplayer only. I am now trying everything I can to see what might fix this problem. Started with a new disc, no go, next was to delete the cache, no-go, then deleted profile, recovered, still a no-go. Created a new gamer tag with the free month and it works. Go figure. Now I just formatted my hard drive, and I am recovering the my gamertag now, let's see what happens.

I am pretty sure we all know what happened. NOTHING CHANGED!!! This is ridiculous. First I traded in my Premium console for an Elite because I was one of the lucky ones that could not play the campaign. Now I become one of the lucky ones that cannot play multiplayer. Go FCKIN FIGURE!!!

I actually have a call in with Microsoft regarding the issue. I think it is on their end. Considering that you delete everything, reformat, clear cache, and the problem only follows the GamerTag, that tells me it is Microsoft.

I don't care whose end it's on. Only GRAW 2 is affected so Ubi should definitely be involved.

Oh and another one of my gamertags corrupted a couple days ago. That's 5 in less than two months.

Another one ****ing corrupted tonight and I'm so pissed I don't even know what to say. This Xbox is brand new, as in 3 days old, so before anyone tries to blame my Xbox(es), don't.

Now, with 6 gamertags corrupted since the start of this thread, I'm not happy. And what a lovely time for it to happen, in my clan's playoffs, with my name locked to a roster.

I don't care if you ban me; I'm talking to myself anyway. I can't even get a simple PR acknowledgment that someone is at least looking into the problem.
