I think it's about time they at least gave us some news on a new ghost recon game. Ubi hasn't given us a friggin thing since what? March or so?

Plus given their track record of new maps, unless their giving us the shaft now, their should be a new map pack on the horizon for the fall months. Heck they need something to come out before Call of Duty 5 or whatever comes out.

I just wish they'd get off this oh so secretive kick and give us something. Who cares about achievements as well, just give us a new map pack. Heck I'd be satisified with old maps, don't have to make nothing new, just update some old ones. I know it's alot of work to do so, but still shouldn't take more than a month or two to do 6 or so maps.

Overall it's about time they gave us something.

Ubi as always are very reluctant to reveal anything before their PR department gives the go ahead. They are supposed to be working on improving their communication but I seriously doubt if that will filter down to the community. We are the bottom of the food chain. If we ever do get some information it will be off IGN as usual. UBI treat the forums with distain at times.

The only way to improve their communication problems is fire the whole pr departement and get a new one.

im betting there wont be anything till after endwar and hawk come out. they dont want to many games sharing the limelight. once these games go on sale and have there big couple of weeks then they will feal better about announcing a new military type game and start building the hype with them.

I can see HawX being quite successful. Mainly because UBI will throw alot of money at the advertising and also the fact they have linked it to Ghost Recon. I definately wont be buying it. I love RTS games but Endwar isn't even a consideration for me. I think my money will be spent on Red Alert 3 and Far Cry 2( mainly for the editor ).

If GRAW 2 came out with new maps, im not sure if I would buy them. After playing GRAW 2 last night in a 16 man room with 12+ playing constanly running around with M107s like assault rifles , my opinion of GRAW 2 as a realistic tactical game is truely out the window. Then again I might get them if they have some more excellent missions on maps like Lost Convoy, Training, Tank and Airfield.

I will always welcome new maps (LOST CONVOY!!!) and the game has definitely seen a resurgence. A lot of COD players have come back and other than the occasional SS room where they rotate the same 3 maps over and over again I've been having a ball.

We have been filling up rooms nightly to the point that we have to ask people to leave to get friends in or branch off and open multiple rooms that all fill up.

We use all the map packs and play siege, blind siege, and SS with full, half, and no booms. We shuffle the maps and it has been fun. I really hope we get more maps though! There can never be too many.

Our Coup de GRAW is a blast! Literally! It's a ten minute, rocket only, solo SS on either Rocky Cove, Bunkers, or other small map. The more the merrier and a great tension reliever at the end or beginning of a night. I sometimes have to wipe the tears from my eyes from laughing so hard.

Join us nightly after 9EST for some fun. If my room is full... there's a reason for it

Maybe we will hear something about the next Ghost Recon around Christmas time.

Melee there are plenty of threads asking about a new GR game, creating yet another really doesnt help anyone and wont get more info more urgently.
