That doesn't fit with their last update which said it would be in the next fiscal year..That doesn't start until April 1, 2010.

September 2010 is far more likely. Remember GR4 will need at least 9 months of hype before its release.

I really like DR, but besides that, i'm really curious what route GR4 should/will take. CM/DR is a newcomer and it takes a lot of space where GR once was!

We've got our MW2, BFBC2, DR and Arma2/PC spectrum so where does GR4 fit in??? Imo there is only room for a new RS, but a new GR???

They will be in direct competition with DR and by that time CM surely will have anounced a sequel.

I think Ubi really messed up some decent ip's. I bought both GRAW games because well, there is GR in the name, but i found them horrible.

So, i'm really curious. If Ubi manages to make a real GFX powergouse out of GR4 i can see some sales, but otherwise? Where IS the fanbase???

Off the top of my head I can think of at least 10 things GR4 could do to ensure it can compete and outstrip OFP DR. Im not gona state what they are because Im looking to make my own mod and I'll use my ideas there.

But for the record I think GR4 will blow people away.

I certainly hope so, the more the better But that mod thing is PC i guess. When we talk 360/PS3 that can't be done, so the package is done bij Ubi. I'm curious to see how it will turn out, were it will fit in, that's all.

Most websites require a release date so the system can take a pre order, it’s for this reason you often see such wide and varied dates on so many online stores which I hasten to add should be given no weight in reality what so ever.

At this time the only release window that’s been given by Ubisoft is financial year 2010/11 and until we say otherwise that’s what it is

hahahaha that release window of Ubi's must be hard to maintain, after all it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

No wonder they take so long to release stuff, with that window of theirs taking up so much room in their building, after all there can't be much room for staff to work.

UBI isn't getting any more of my money until I try the game first. That means they need to release a demo. GR2 (console) sucked, GRAW 1 was terrible and GRAW 2 was close but no cigar.

GR2 wasnt OGR but it definately didn't suck.

It was probably brilliant as far as console games go. Then again, most console FPS suck and are dumbed down beyond recognition. Had they released it for PC it would have sucked.

I work for the New Product development portion of our marketing department, we develop retail products across multuple platforms. You know real world stuff, if our release dates and customer expectations were met with the same responses as UBi's I'd hate to think where we'd be today.
Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel as competition such as Activision with such products as World at War gain market share and influence. Afterall they seem to keep up much better with market demands on new releases.

Meh ,consoles aren't bad at all,in fact i own 2 of them.A PS3 that i only use as a Media server (Blu's ,dvd's,music) and a Wii that only my wife and my 4 year old daughter use to goofe around on

But for playing games (FPS that is ),well...i have my PC for that

The problem is ,since the 'uprise ' of the consoles nearly all games have been dumbed down in favour of 'the console kids.
But in the end its good to have both in the house i guess, it just depends what your prioritis are.
Mine is : fun and entertainment = consoles
Gaming (FPS ) = PC
