In multi-game play it would be cool to expand maps. For instance when the host is setting up a game and he is picking a map, there would be check boxes to other maps that are linked to the main map. So if the host picked Headquarters, there would be a check box next to Hideout. The host could include Hideout in the game play so the door between Headquarters and Hideout would be opened. In smaller multi-player games where there are 2-5 players, Headquarter alone would be the perfect size map - but if there were 16 (or maybe 32 in GR4) players, expanding the field could be an option.

Having a "Message of the day" next to or under the game room would be great. I like playing Headquarters and only look for Headquarter games. It ****es me off when I wait in a lobby that's playing Headquarters only to find out when the new game starts that the map is on rotation. The host could use this "Message of the day" line to indicate various things including "Headquarters 24/7"

You need to figure out why the network crashes. I was playing the other day and got an error that the PSN connection went down. So I exited the game and checked the PS Store. I could get into the store but when I launched the game and returned to Online - it kept giving me a timeout error. My friend also had the same issue - he is on a different network do it's not my Verizon DSL and it's not his Cable connection. This happens alot and get really old. Please fix your network issue.

It would be great to be able to download your user info to a jump drive so you can take it to a friends house and load it on his PS3/X360. Or if the Ubi Network kept your character info so when you played from any machine - you could log in and use your character.

Sorry if some of this might be a repeat of others suggestion -

Thanks

The future wont have shotguns, its power like in WW2 has diminished with everyone coming out with new bulletproof gear and stuff in that nature

Here's one for the next Ghost Recon, actually from storyline #2 i'm creating(Characters names mean nothing. It's a thing of they're personalitys are in the game. The names mean nothing.)

The year is 2022 and old national powers rise back from the dead and become national threats immediatly. The Rising Sun, the Nazis, and the USSR are the threats that pose up against the alliance of the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, Egypt, Ireland, Norway, Sweeden, Turkey, Georgia, North&South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and China. The alliances once shared with Japan, Germany, and Russia are broken due to these government's return. They promised us they won't return. We payed them with valueable resources to keep them from returning. We gave them basically everything they wanted. They backstabbed us that we could never be allies ever more. The national threat and being backstabbed aren't your only problems. The armys of the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, and China are weak due to stopping a civil war in China. The civil war lasted 2 1/2 years. The special forces of the army, known as the Ghost team. Alpha team is led by Mjr. Laughrin, Sgt. Barts, S.Sgt. Ressler, and Pvt. Cleland(Codename A125). Bravo Team is led by Cpt. Manier, Sgt.Getchell, Pvt. Burnard, and S.Sgt Rasmussen(Codename B215). Charlie Team is led by Cpt. Senkbiel, Sgt. Williams, Pvt. Perryman, and S.Sgt. Thorn(Codename C521). The Marksman team consists of Mjr. Laughrin, Sgt. Barts, Cpt. Manier, Cpt. Senkbiel, S.Sgt Rasmussen, and S.Sgt. Thorn(Codename MARK1). The 5* generals are M. Laughrin and Jo. Laughrin. The C. is Ja. Laughrin. You will also meet up with teams Delta(D326), Echo(E561), and Fox(F349). D326 consists of Cpt. Hungerford, 1st. Lt. A.Manier, Pvt. Hittman, and Sgt. A. Senkbiel. E561 consists of Mjr. Salzbrenner, S.Sgt. Pirrung, Sgt. Jansen, and Pvt. Bauer. F349 consists of A. Radtke, S.Sgt. M.Radtke, Sgt. Klunk, and Pvt. Adleman. Lonewolf teams will vary apon mission(might have 1 of each team or might consist of a whole team.)(The teams of D326, E561, and F349 are other special forces' teams aka not Ghosts). So can you defeat these rising powers with the advantage towards them? Play to find out.

The title would be either A. Ghost Recon: World Conflict or B. Ghost Recon: Rising of the Dead.

IF there is a map editor in Ghost Recon 4 if possible it would be really cool to have the feature to use custom textures for our map creations. Say for example we have a block or a sphere, we could take a picture ( for XBox 360 taken using the XBL Camera ) and then paste it onto that shape. Would be great for making believable boundaries at the outer limits of the map. We could map distance buildings or forests monatges to make the maps look bigger than they are or just to give a resource light great looking boundary.

Not sure if its doable with Xbox. But im sure there is some form of workaround. I mean it can be done for face mapping on R6V.

you know generalweasel i don't think i like your ideas that much. first off japan is our ally and would be helpful if north korea tried anything. and the germans are a little twisted but not stupid. and the USSR is dead. and that thing about "the future wont have shotguns". the new bulletproof stuff is very expencive and not every baddy can get one. thats the problem with most games the bad guys have to much armor. if they could buy all there gear they might as well have bought what they wanted instead of fighting for it. and the combat shotgun IS a vital part of war. and if your worried about the future check out the AA-12 you could knock down a starship with that thing.

I really don't care of wat u think is logical or not, ghost recon island thunder and jungle storm were in cuba. have we been there no. Ghost recon desert seige was about terrorists in africa. We wouldnt send troops there if we were giving them medical/food/education supplies.

And quite frankly i dont think shotguns will excist after we pull out of the middle east region.

So shut ur mouth, i have an opinion and quite frankly i dont care if u agree with it or not!

Plus the future of gaming means making the most illogical descisions. Like the nazi zombies of cod. Who would've thought of that. ITS THE FUTURE.

I want to make game storylines when i'm done here at high school and college. I got offered an internship in 8th grade by red storm. They said once i have my degree i can go instantly down there and they'll see if they like me.

If you are interested in getting a job in game design, start modding PC games. Grab 3dSM or Unreal Ed and start making maps, characters or objects. Having a knowledge of the programs used in game creation goes farther together with having a portfolio of mods for games goes a long way to getting you in the door. That is how Serellan got in at RSE. He made mods for Rogue Spear (amongst other games, but I know him from his RS mods).

Knowing Photoshop is also a plus for creating textures.

GRAW, the original. For me was where I made many of the lasting friendships on xbox live that I still maintain today. It was also, in my opinion the 360's first blockbuster at least in the shooter category. I can remember countless nights spent into the wee hours bustin *** on that game. It forced people to use team work and strategy to their fullest capabilities. With the release of GRAW 2, came other advances in the game industry and GRAW for many gamers, myself included lost a little of its appeal. It just wasn't as exciting as the first Gears was at the time. I still tried to play every now and then. But most of my friends had moved on or just got bored w/ it.

I love GRAW. I would like to see this game rebuilt completely from the ground up. Screw it, revolutionize the hell out of it. Sure some die hards might get P.O'ed but hey, if this game is going to indure it must be reinvisioned. Even more so than Splinter Cell if you ask me. I like what their trying to do with Splinter Cell. But GRAW needs it even more so.

One example of this it the old aiming and the sluggishness of it. Primary example of this is the following: two players suddenly run right past each other. Both players stop and begin the ever so slow task of doing a complete 180 degree turn...Point being, sensitivity on this game needs to be boosted way up.

Graphicly this game needs to be improved by leaps and bounds over all. Despite the game being beautiful for its day. By todays standards GRAW one and two both look like cartoons.

Lets see a sprint feature. Face it people, real people , even your fat mother in-law are able to sprint for short distances.....And besides that its generally becoming a standard feature in modern shooters these days.

There needs to be as much as I hate to say, some sort of match making system. You guys can still keep the public lobbies. But for those of us who don't enjoy listening to random redneck babble for hours on end. Match making may be the way to go. And who hasn't been kicked for killing the host one too many times.

Sound has always been one of my sticking points when it comes to most games. Most games sound work, are sub par at best. The first GRAW had excellent sound work. I mean you could get shot in the head by an opponent and I swear to God, with just a decent surround sound system it felt like that bullet literally impacted your forehead. You could always approaxamate an enemies position by the sound it was great sound work. GRAW 2 however, not so much.

I have alot of other opinions on how to improve this game and make it a competitor against games like Modern Warfare 2. But maybe next time. I have to go back to work. You guys have a good one.

Hi, I have just registered on this forum as I see it as a way to help guide the new game to a path that we all will enjoy. And so that I can keep track of this new GR Game.

I am mainly a GR2 fan however I did like the GRAW series just not so much.

The main idea I would like to promote which I am guessing has been said before is user created multiplayer maps(similar thing to what far cry has done).

My main gripe with the Advanced Warfighter series was that they moved away from the jungle/swamps/forest/cliffs/rivers that made the experience so good in the old games for me and my friends.

By adding a map editor combined with some form of map rating system I think it would improve the game and (not that it probably needs it) improve the life/freshness of the game as time moves on.

Thank you.

This is what I think, They should stay with urban warfare mainly with some woodland combat but mostly urban because thats what soldiers are facing now, change to 1st person but let us see our gun, and add a cover system for multiplayer add gun sway and recoil if possible.Bigger maps if possible for bigger engagements at longer ranges making it more realistic, they should also implemet the sprinting system from GRAW2 Single player. Lastly keep the damage system the same and in highest difficulty dont highlight the enemies in red or show friendlies in a blue or green highlight or the place where they are gonna go when you give them the command Go To

this game for me has been the best game for clan matches i have ever played. there isnt much that needs changing but just updating.

gr is a 3rd person shooter and should stay that way. if people dont like it then why did they play it. there are enough first person shooters about for people who want it

big maps that are well thought out. they should give the defending team ( i play siege mainly so most my views are based on that ) the slight advantage but not too much

instead of a base make it an objective as it was annoying when you injured some one in the base they could still take the base

never add the cover system that has ruined rb6 imo. rb6 3 and ba were awesome games but since the introduction of cover it has taken the skill away

use all of a map. e.g. treasury was a great map but half off it was never used. if need be on some maps have different spawn points. but dont have a quick spawn. maps like quarry was a perfect example of different spawn points. it wouldnt work on a lot of maps on graw as all the bases were at one end but gr was better thought out with the bases.

somebody mentioned the speed of the player especially when you both run past each other and it takes an age to turn.

gr and graw have always been a pleasure to play and i hope they improve the game but dont do drastic changes. keep the game the way it should be and dont just follow suit with the rest of the games being released today. we have enough run and guns. what we need is a tactical shooter the way gr has always been

They should also make a map reminisent of the Facility from Goldeneye. I don't mean copy or anything, but something with rooms, where you can hide behind the doors, bathroom stalls, vents, bullet proof windows where you can see them but have to go around to get them, etc.

I like the open maps as much as the next guy, but adding a few maps that you can actually use the above stuff, would be great because you'd really have to be skillful. They could have holes in the vents that you could shoot down at people walking under you, but also bullets are able to penetrate them. They need a more combination of maps. Also it be kind of interesting if for some maps when you respawn you get parachuted in, but it be random, some times you'd spawn on the ground, sometimes parachute down above the spawn. That way people would have to look multiple ways and spawn camping would be a bit harder or at least more skillful to complete.

Basically I want more thought to go into the maps. Don't just stick a tower there and don't allow people to use it by breaking the ladder 2 feet off the ground.

That is if the game ever gets made.

some of the things you mentioned sound a little bit splinter cell like. i personally wouldnt like the getting into air vents. the thing that makes the game is working as a team. if there was no teamwork then you had no chance. you always had to keep your wits about you. somebody else did say that a matchmaking option should be introduced and i defo agree with that. a decent clan leaderboard would be great aswell. xp is good but people who play more regulary had a better chance. some sort of ratio would be good.

for me all leaderboards should be done on a kill to death ratio for individual leaderboards. cod do it on kills and that is ok but i have more kills than deaths and some people are above me even though they have twice as many deaths than kills.

never have a quick shot on any map. there is nothing worse than getting killed within 5 secs at the start of a map. cod is terrible for this.

keep the options the way they are on all the recent graws were you can switch off certain weapons. clan matches were always better with no explosives.

dont have big maps and then close them up with only 3 ways into the area of the base. this was a prob with quite a few maps and it really didnt make any sense

Ghost Recon needs to go back to this type of stealth. I remember when Recon used to be more like this.

when playing though graw 1 singleplayer had a brain storm for a new game mode on a big map maybe at night would be good it's last man standing ! 1 team is attacking the other a patrol! each player on the patrolling team has a big circle round him that only he can see, he can not move out the circle unless under fire !the circle moves though the map and the circle is big so he can use cover but has to keep moving the other team has to take them out with stealth but if spotted that man is hilighted for patrolling team to see with the red dimoned so it's hard for him to be hide !
the circle pathes are random and can over lap !

The devs should go back and play all pre graw games and see what made gr so good!

1) from gr1 commanding 2 teams to play missions how you want to, to get the job done ! with the voice control that was in end war this should now be able to be done whithout making the controls to hard
2)gr 2 third person with your man in the center not to one side! people in graw look round corners with the RB button to change the cam from left to right
3) darker maps with bad weather proper bushes grass and trees that you can use for cover without them vanishing,
4)and use the d pad to lean again so when you take your finger off your man stops !
5)harder to aim when running !
6)better cammo like the ghillie suit

i agree fully the old recons are the best and that is saying something because of graphic advancements of later consoles ! bring back ALPHA and BRAVO teams that was the greatest thing any COMBAT SIM had ever had i would spend years playing the same level over again and setting up kill zones and fall back defencive line with ALPHA and BRAVO ! also keep the third person it is what RECON is all about "i need to know if my foot is stickining out or my head is over the top of a barrel ". BUT YOU NEED TO FIX GRENADES IT SHOULD NOT TAKE FIVE MINUTES TO THROW A GRENADE ! ALSO WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO CLIMB OVER OBJECTS MORE AND UP LADDERS AND OVER SMALL ROCKS FOR CHRIST SAKE ! IT IS CRAZY THAT I DIE BECAUSE MY PLAYER GETS STUCK ON A ROCK/BUSH THAT IS THE SIZE OF MY FIST!

recon was the most realistic battle sim.. ever created in human history, but it has been on a down would spiral for the last three releases.

BRING BACK THE STEALTH AND GET IT IN YOUR HEADS THAT NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY A RECON THAT IS URBAN COMBAT!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO CRAWLING ON YOUR BELLY ACROSS A PLOWED FEILD WHILE A SEARCH LIGHT SWEEPS IT, OR DOING A SWEEP THROUGH A THICK JUNGLE VALLEY WHILE BRAVO COVERS YOU FROM THE RIDGE TOP BEFORE MOVING IN ON A ENEMY OUTPOST !!

OH AND COME ON GIVE ME A KNIFE TO SLASH ENEMY SNIPERS WITH !! LOL
