Ever time I pick a uniform to go out in, the cammy is ruied by that damn olive green body amor and flack vest. Really Ubi u need to let us pick our uniforms and LBV,BODY AMOR,FLACK VEST, AND THE COLOR. I cant play online yet because Im here.. in this 3world country and they do not have a strong enough connection... one meg. So every time I play its by my lonesome against the computer. The I see you anywhere is VERY anoying. I should not have to hold a button down to switch from single shot to auto or bust. That is a problem too as well as on the hunt and holding the left triger I have to release it to peek around the corner and reclutch it, this problem should not be a problem. Fix the control scheme or come out with a ghost recon controller or somthing with more buttons. I know that sounds funny but look at this.. you want pistol, hit your pistol button.. quick draw time, grenades.. sling your weapon grab your frag at the touch of a button. Here is another easy thing you could fix how about bonoculars!!! hey..hey. Your sites only give you a narrow veiw but catch this with bonoculars they give you a much wider veiw and with the same distance as a snipers lense.. And with the push of a button you could use them. I say follow call of duty, they put it in the game very smooth. Oh YES like I said put in the KNIFE just for STEALTH KILLS. And you should only be able to perform this kill from behind. In the AMY we called hitting the enamy with the bottom of our weapon a BUTT STROKE. Now this one would be good for foes that are too close for comfort. And the finall touch, shot guns(some one said this I know but when I played single player I just knew they where in MP) and GILLIE SUITS A COUPLE OF THEM. THANK YOU.

![]() I'm not sure but I think The press and hold started with GR2, I agree it was better with one touch change to burst, auto or single. |

Just for giggles I checked my mail tonight, and found a GRAW newsletter uplink from Christian "Serellan" Allen
Creative Director, GRAW 2 Xbox 360 Online Red Storm Entertainment. What was interesting was the content, firstly I recieved the mail June 5 07 which by my reconing was 5/6 days ago it mentined new DLC for GRAW 2 which I'm totally stoked about Hey gang, Christian Allen here from the GRAW™ 2 MP team at Red Storm. I heard that we were sending a newsletter out to the fans that had signed up for it, and I thought I would send a shout-out. The dev team is really happy that the game is doing great on Xbox LIVE®. We've been out playing some great games online and having a blast. Personally, I've really been enjoying Blind Siege matches, and Chris Bray started up a RSE Clan, so keep an eye out for us (and especially don't boot me for being a faker like someone did on Saturday night!) ;-) ). Right now we are seeing just under a hundred thousand unique users playing GRAW 2 each day. As of last week, you guys have played over five million multiplayer matches over Xbox LIVE. Based on our gameplay data, Headquarters looks like the most popular Team & Solo map, with Station in the top slot for Co-Op Campaign, and Aftermath for Co-Op Firefight. The most popular game modes are Co-Op Campaign, Team Sharpshooter, Team Last Man Standing, Co-Op Firefight, Team Siege, and Team Blind Siege. I'm also happy to see people out there exploring the custom game modes, make sure you check it out to see a lot of the gameplay variety available. Lastly, I want to give you an exclusive first scoop that some new Downloadable Content for GRAW 2 will be available soon. I've seen (and heard on Xbox LIVE) a ton of feedback from the community that you want to see favorite maps from previous games and play them in GRAW 2. Well, now you'll get the chance. These new maps have been upgraded with the new graphics features (such as new textures, dynamic lighting, and foliage), but retain the gameplay from the originals. It was hard to choose which maps should be included as DLC (I'd love to include them all, but that just wasn't possible); so here is how we chose the winners: Due to some great polls on the forums at Ghostrecon.com, Ghostrecon.net, and Xbox.com, we had a good idea of the maps you want to play. Early on, we decided to stick to maps from Ghost Recon® 2, Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike™, and GRAW (along with DLC from those games). This was because the maps from GR and IT would have required too much time to rebuild to GRAW 2 standards (Embassy is an example of this; it had to be completely built from scratch, where the GR2+ maps could retain their terrain layouts and be upgraded visually). Then, we looked at which maps could be brought in and give you the most "bang for your buck," focusing on Team gameplay and providing a variety of gameplay size and style. Each of the maps will support gamplay in all of the various Team, Solo, and Co-Op game modes (with the exception of Campaign, of course). With all that said, here is what you will be seeing in the upcoming DLC pack: Bonfires (GR2 DLC) Peninsula (GR2) Mountain Base (GR2:SS) Mountain Falls (GR2) Desert Gulch (GRAW) Fishing Village (GRAW) Jungle Mines (GRAW DLC) Well, that's it for now. I'm back to the game; I've still got work to do to get that Ultimate Defender Achievement. See you on Xbox LIVE, I'll be the one with the Mk14. Christian "Serellan" Allen Creative Director, GRAW 2 Xbox 360 Online Red Storm Entertainment If I was to say I'm throughing my game against the nearest wall because the Game Stop can't buy it because they are closed, may sme up how I feel. At first I was hopeing that new DLC was other maps maybe OGR, GRIT then i read on, the explaination made sence, kind of, then I read that the information was gained from other forums and UBI, the 1 we had to register with to get the DLC, wasn't even looked at. You know what, not only did I already PAY for this DLC that its taken you nearly a month to give me an " exclusive first scoop" but on top of that the ideas we had here haven't even been looked at. I have only been in this forum for about a month or two, I'm sure most of you have been here for quite some time, haveing read a great deal of posts I have found a new level of respect for the players of the GR games. I wish you all well and good luck getting new DLC in a manner that will help you to choose to play your game the way you want. I am no longer going to provide this company with a profit margin just because they think its ok. I am beyond pissed, |

Right, here's my take on what changes we need (and some we could do without). I won't explain something that's already been covered, but I'll mention it if it's something that's worthwhile.

Your credibility is highly suspect when you request the noobvision gogles from GRAW. Noone liked having half night vision half heat vision which resulted in "neat" vision. Noone except the people that exclusively used the neat vision gogles and never used normal vision. OOoooh yeah, sorry in real life there are no gogles that cause people to stand out from the environment in bright green silhouettes. |

TT I see this was your first post and its great to hear all different ideas popular or not, I get the feeling that the GRAW games were the first in the series that you have played, personally I've played all the xbox & 360 GR games and all have qualities that make each game memorable. Right now you could probably purchase each one of the games for a fraction of the original price and definately get your money's worth. The games for the xbox are, Ghost Recon Ghost Recon Island Thunder Ghost Recon 2 Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike Each game would probably be about $5/10 each. As you play each game you will come away with knowledge that is only a distant memory for some of the other posters giving you an excelent opportunity in asisting other posters remember. All of the above games are execellent games you will not regret buying them. |

I know I just recommended games, and I am still pissed at RSE,....I'm sorry if anyone thinks bad of me but the originals are great games, I will always recommend the games before GRAW, and intern never recommend the GRAW games.

I have a map compatability idea for the next two installments, but I'll use GRAW/GRAW2 as my example, even thought that ship has already sailed.
I wish you could load ALL GRAW maps with your GRAW2 disc. Don't laugh too fast because it seems feasible. Imagine you're playing GRAW2 and it would "pause" for you to insert your GRAW1 disc at which time it copied all the maps to your HD. Probably 2 or 3 full minutes. Then those maps get a "cookie" for the current session. You reinsert your GRAW2 disc. As long as the power stays on, you can play all those GRAW1 maps. After a power cycle, the copying phase is actually not repeated, rather you just put the GRAW1 disc in and the map data already on your HD is certified and a new session cookie issued - much faster. Yes you would have unlimited map updates at a LAN party with only one disc, but this isn't so bad. When everyone goes home, they can't access the data without having the actual disc on hand. Plus the large number of maps could make GRAW2 the LAN pary choice, instead of some other game. Think about that principle as it relates to sales in general. What this does is build value for repeat customers. They get to use their already-purchased maps on the next game installment. And the entire GRAW1 map pack could be available to new customers as DLC, at a bit less than the cost of the GRAW1 game - expensive, yes, but you can't undercut the retail value of the last game installment by too much; since there's no SP the perceived value is a bit less. Anyway if the map format and rendering engine are adequately static across the next two installments, this plan builds immense value for the series. In the age of end-user map creation, the perceived work to port maps is only dropping. Charging for this feels like someone digging in your pocket, which further opens the door for a competitor to scoop some of the fan base. I advocate changing with the times, or ahead of them, by giving away some labor to enhance the perceived residual value of older titles. If I know the next installment is ALSO a future DLC for the game after it, I see my purchase as a twofold investment. And as a bonus, I'm predisposed to buy that next game, precisely because I've already "invested". It's lovely psychology and great customer service. --The last thing I want to do is hurt you. (But it's still on the list.) |

Or they could just give us a map/mission editor instead which would allow us to upload our maps and missions to friends. Just like Far Cry Instincts and Operation Flashpoint Elite.

When I try to think what their opposition would be to these ideas, if any, I'm inclined to believe in a profit motive or that the editor is too much work as a separate project. My idea violates both of those principles as well, but it keeps the map authorship in the hands of developers and does not require any sort of transmission and/or storage using the Live servers. So both our ideas may never see the light of day, but mine may have better political chances. I like yours better because more minds are afforded the opportunity for creative input, which can only help the franchise in that respect. --The last thing I want to do is hurt you. Research the average connection speed of the country you are selling to primarily and advertise honestly how many people will be able to play the game in specific modes based on average broadband speeds.
Telling folks they can have 16 in co-op but then they have to come to a forum to find out they cannot even buy the broadband speed to play the game as advertised is jacked.. jacked. Especially when they successfully played with full rooms in the PREVIOUS version of the game. Just friggin be honest already. |

I think both ideas are great, without any bitterness, is it worth the DEVs getting involved with what could be a huge undertaking as mission editors and as for the map reloads, I believe it may be the easiest way to go and long term makes sence profit wise knowing the players now have access to all of there previously made maps which now become unused. The reason I think it would work is this DEVs spend alot of time and energy on all the stuff I can't even spell isn't pissed at my un thought out comment |

We need to be able to jump and perform evasive rolling moves like in GoW. Marcus Fenix would woop Scott Mitchell's sorry ass!
Dirty by name, dirty by nature. |

Yeah, like Marcus Fenix is REAL! hah!
Anyway, my idea is for an audible tone to signal the end of the siege (or other non-respawn) round. I have a pool table next to my gaming setup, so during my considerable time in the dead room I'm usually practicing my bank shot. I have to listen for the conversation or keep watching the screen to perceive the end of the match. I need an optional beep to clear things up. Also some people channel surf while they're dead. It would help them, too. --The last thing I want to do is hurt you. (But it's still on the list.) |

You could always buy a wireless mic |

I should have been more clear. I do have a wireless mic, which is how I shoot pool and still listen to the conversation for my cue (sorry, couldn't resist) to get back and check up. This beep I suggest would hopefully be inserted into the mic's audio feed.

Ah , right on , I got ya now . Not a bad idea for the siege players. It would help with clan matches too I'm sure. Someone always seems to walk away from their controler during the dead room time and then is late checking up for the next round.
Even worse is when they fall asleep at the stick |
