Why would they make a first person view if you can't see your gun? I don't like just having a huge open screen with a cross-air in it. Is this just a glitch or something on my screen. Can I turn it on.

That's just how GR has always been. There is no weapon visible when you're in first-person view. I personally don't mind it since it lets me see more of what's going on.

PC users get to see their guns.

Yo Rocky, you do know that the majority plays in "Over the shoulder"-view.
Anyone so playing in FPV is a great disadvantage.

I presume you meant if you are the Host you'll "Force the camera" in the mp-settings.
