I like the way they linked this new game to GRAW by showing the start of the GRAW intro CG trailer from the perspective of the pilot. Anything to sell this game, they must think that all the GRAW kiddies will buy this game just because it has Tom Clancy in front of it and it has some vague linkage to GRAW, and they are probably right. Id like to bet 2 things now.

1. When they really start marketing this game they will mention connection to GRAW ALOT.

2. They will tout it as a game with a massive amount of tactical elements which will appease the hardcore flight sim players, then it will turn out as arcadey as they come.

Sorry for the negative attitude but using Ghost Recon to advertise a Flight Sim is LOW, even for Ubis coporate attitude.

If they want to connect something to GRAW it should have actually been another GRAW/GR game. Screw this ****.

If it is made and hyped by Ubi, yes. Given their record on customer support and communication they don't deserve to have people blindly hand over $60 to them.

Still trying to figure out a couple of things here.

HAWX = High Altitude Warfare Xtreme? Cool dude....

From a Ubi press release "The game is set in the near future in a world where a private military force has cumulated such power that it attacks the United States."

Wow... in 2012. Nice writing Ubi - that is even lamer than Mexican Rebels in GRAW and the ending to Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

The Ghost Air support in the trailer comes from an all-American HS star quarterback sounding golden boy flying a Rafale?

If Ubi quit making such unbelievable rubbish and went back to believable stories with game play like Rainbow Six 3 and Ghost Recon or GRIT, I might give them another chance.

As long as I am going to play Sci-Fi, I'll stick with actuall Sci-Fi games like GoW 2 or the new Star Wars game coming out. No need to play these *******ized titles from Ubi any longer. I looked to Ubi because they provided my "realism" fix. They don't do that anymore.

it's made for entertainment. For fun. If it sucks, then it sucks. It won't be the first time, probably not the last.

But if it's a GOOD game, you're not even going to try it because the "realism" is gone?

You are free to keep giving $60 to Ubi every time they release a title and "play it for what it is." I choose not to.

Appears to be more medicority from a company known for mediocrity.

I've been hearing rumors about a flying game for the past year. I can't wait for this game to come out. It's gonna be ****ing badass. I just don't hope its not all arcade like that retarded game Ace Combat. That whole thing of reappearing missles on the wings is stupid. I hope this is more simulator like Over G. Over G is so much better than Ace in my opinion. Hope HAWX will be better.

I hope they don't restrict altitude like Ace did. Over G had it right, nothing like flying at 65-70,000ft in an F/A-22 Raptor and seeing the curviture of the Earth.

I hope they let us taxi to the runway, land to refuel, land to rearm, land and take off from carriers. I hope they have an arena mode like Over G had where you can fly patrols with unlimited time, take down anyone that gets in your way, return to base to resupply, then taxi back to the runway and take off. That was fun to do, I'd spend 8-9 hours easily just flying sorties.

Either way im not purchasing the Game, infact im not buying any UBISOFT games untill they fix the games already released.

Not to mention my username here has failed and ive reported it and as per normal my report and issue is ignored.

KillerSkippy logs in but gives a page that display System Error text only.

I want my Single Player Master Achievement fixed and dont say do the secondry objectives as i have 59 from 60 so they are done.

I can not believe they released this game and pointed it to the GRAW stuff, false advertising if you ask me.

i know its odd for me saying but i sower i ask for some thing like this in this forums in my old account which oddly i cant get in to....

but im glad they are making hawx is about time ubsoft makes a flight sim, i mean being able to call air support in graw.. i all ways wonder what was there back story since im in to planes after all lol

Ubi has published flight sims and flight combat games before. Lock-On and the iL2 series have the sims covered and the mediocre Blazing Angels (created by the same studio that is bring HAWX to life, but strangely, had award winning games in the Silent Hunter series go figure).
