I have been playing this game since day one, and i'm sure everyone n here has been doing the same.
I have read multiple times that there will be no new ghost reco nor are there any works on the game for the future. Now I know an admin will come in here and say this topic has already been open and and the discussion is on going. But I realy want to know one thing and one thing only, It hasn't been answered and why can't someone give an answer. Will there be any works in the future on a new series, from ghost recon? everyone keeps putting down what they want for the next ghost recon, Are they wasting there time. can someone just give us hope that at least in the future they will be working on one. I don't need the info, just hope. I mean I started online gaming just for ghost recon, and i am always buying the next game, be it ghost recon or a shooter game just to find that game again. Cod has takin over what ghost recn use to be, i mean if you go to the gaming site ladders, the most active game out there right now is cod. please don't let that happen, give us hope and someone get some answers to all the loyal fans that stand behind UBI thanks for the read |

There's no news of a new game in the works but don't worry, I have a feeling they've started something.
You've read that there will be no new title, because people in the EndWar and HAWX discussions are saying that because Captain Mitchell might be in those games, there is no Ghost Recon. Basically, that doesn't even make sense for one thing because there are plenty of studios to work on all games, and for another because Ghost Recon doesn't revolve solely around Scott. It can move on without him. Those are just rumors, not confirmations. Basically, Ghost Recon is one of Ubisoft's best series, they're not going to ditch it this soon. They've been reeling in money on Rainbow Six since I was in diapers, and it's still running strong, and since Ghost Recon is a much younger series, there's still so many more years ahead for it. |

First,
Ghost Recon does not equal GRAW, you have to understand that concept to follow the rest. Ubi reps have said there is no GRAW3 in development. When asked about another Ghost Recon, they either ignore the question or say there is no news one way or the other about any future Ghost Recon title. They have said no to GRAW3.
They have not said no to a future Ghost Recon. Does that offer some hope? The fact that Captain Mitchell is in other games should be encouraging, since they are still using the characters. I bet there will be another one, just look at how advanced GRAW2 was. I know we all want the old school style back, but it is still a far better game than even brand new releases like Rainbow 6 Vegas 2.
Also, this game has gotten MORE support than any other title I've seen. 52 maps including the release maps if I counted correctly, and 16 missions? Hell, you'll NEVER find that kind of DLC for other games. I'd say they are keeping it hush hush, but they sunk the R6 franchise so they will NEED a new Recon to bounce back. |

It's a question of PR. R6V2 was coming out so it got all the PR, then they announced HAWX, and now all the PR is going to Endwar. Once that is out keep your eyes and ears open. Thats when you'll hear about GR4.
Thank god they are taking their time. RSE did a great job with the co-op maps for GRAW 2 but the engine is severly lacking in several areas. New engine please with real physics and at least 50% destructible environments. Oh and non concrete bushes. Or Bullet proof cardboard boxes. |

Yeah the whole bullproof bushes and boxes are stupid. Since when can a small bush stop a bullet or a person from walking through it.
My bet is it will be out March/April of 2009. By the end of October we'll probably hear about it, since End War and HAWX will already be released(supposedly) and the pr can shift to the new GRAW/Ghost Recon game. |

i KNOW GUYS, YOUR ALL IN THE SAME BOAT, I just want something to look forward too.
I mean i remember whn the guys left redstorm and created there own company to try to creat a game like grit.it was www.blackfootstudios.com so i mean there working on something for the future. rb6 sucks they just changed a little bit and charged 60 bucks again. they keep coming out with the same maps for graw, just redue them I want a new game |

you know what even though it wasn't any news it was hope.
so I appreciate the answer, believe me i do. i love the game and can't waite no matter how long it takes. thank you again for at least letting us know that they wont kill the series. |

I hope they move away from Mexico on the next Recon. I'm tired of shooting Mexicans in GRAW1 and 2. I want to shoot some Iranian badguys or Al Queda, or Taliban, or Hamas, or Hezbollah guys. I hope, if they are working on the next Recon, that it's based in the middle east, about the war for oil and control of the lands, and the struggle between Israel and Iran and all the other countries involved. I have some buddies fighting over there in Iraq and Afganastan who all say they wish there was a Recon game out that was based on what they are doing over there.

Well then I guess GRAW and GRAW2 are just the games for you.
 The rest of us are tired of espanol and we want some real Ghost Recon, where you actually traveled to different countries instead of staying posted up in one for the course of a whole game, or in this case two whole games.  Base the next one in Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, anywhere but Mexico. Wouldn't mind going to Venezuela and kicking Hugo Chavez' butt for a few missions, then extract from the country only to go into Columbia and rescue some American hostages being help up in the mountains by rebels. Then get them out of the country and head to the middle east so we can kick Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's butt for a few missions, take a short trip to Iraq, help out the coalition for a few missions, then head over to Afganastan, help out our soldiers there. Then go fly to Korea and kick Kim Jung Ill's butt for a few missions, find out from him where is buddy Bin Laden is, fly over to Pakistan where he's at and kick his butt all the way back to Gittmo where we get to watch him be interrogated(all this on a DVD included with the game) for a nice 3 hours while we sit back and say WOW...that was one hell of a game. I'd pay 150 bucks for a game like that.
