I thought there was going to be no more Ghost Recon, I thought that EndWar was the final franchise of Tom Clancy series, and i can swear i saw a post saying that.

You may have seen that at some time. However, that is highly unlikely now that Ubi just paid Clancy over 100 million for the rights to use his name in any future game, book or other media venture Ubi creates.

There's also an Ace Combat style flight simulator in the works (Tom Clancy's Air Combat) and they're in the process of figuring out if it's worth trying to do a Clancy-themed MMO game of some sort.

well Endwar looks very promissing. I'm interested in it but I do believe it will have the same bad netcode then GRAW2 lol. Lets hope for a demo.

There's also a Ghost Recon book in the works for later this year.
GR isn't going anywhere. Just hope they're going the right direction with the next generation of it.
Looking forward to the air combat game too. I love Ace Combat. Not a sim, but a hell of a lot of fun.

Well I dont actually want a GRAW3. I actaully dont want advanced war fighting with all this high tech stuff. I would be happy with any war from ww1 to Irak. It only has to be 3rd person. If its only 1st Im not interested in it.

I believe Endwar is going to be more of a strategy game, not a GR replacement. Besides, what is the NC crew working on ?

Endwar is being done in China
RV2 was done in Canada

Well that picture seems really similar to a picture of GRAW 2s. The only difference I see is the fact that Scott's helmet is different and they added characters from GRAW to the background.

The next Ghost Recon game will NOT be "Advanced Warfighter". They did a sequel to GR2 (Summitt Strike) then went on to GRAW. They did a sequel to GRAW so now it's time to move on to something else.

Nothing wrong with going into the future a bit. Just not into a "Halo" like future.

Where is the sequel to GR then? We still have not seen one of those yet.

The sequel to GR was GR Island Thunder wasn't it? There was also Jungle Storm, but that was an expansion pack.

Seems like so long ago now.

GR:IT and GR2:Summit Strike weren't expansion packs, they were playable games in their own right. A true expansion pack like Jungle Storm (on xbox, the PS2 had a different Jungle Storm I think) couldn't be played unless you had the original game.

They don't drop Ghost Recon, they just drop the Advanced Warfighter theme, thats a big difference!

BTW, We are fans of Ghost Recon, not AW!

They mean the Advanced Warfighter part will be dropped and a new Ghost Recon game will be made. Maybe Ghost Recon Space Ranger or Ghost Recon Vietnam Revisited lol.
