I think that you've unofficially confirmed that GR4 will feature people talking!

Also noticed SOCOM 4 is in there.

Some bad news is that GR4 is listed as just PS3 and 360. No mention of PC. Probably nothing but after GR2 anything is possible.

lmao

When are we going to get a preview or some solid info? its killing me.

we have to fend for ourselves just to get some small info about Ghost Recon 4 , ah well its better than having nothing.

PC version not being listed may just mean its being outsourced to another independent company not using PCB.

This is what I saw on there. Is this what you guys are talking about? I didn't see Ghost Recon 4. Possibly I'm not looking hard enough.

"GHOST RECON 3: ADVANCED WAR FIGHTER - (dialog production / dialog director) - X-BOX 360 / X-BOX, PLAYSTATION 2 - UBISOFT"

I must be looking at the wrong page. I didn't even see Socom on there.

They must have, because I've scan through that page several times, and I've yet to see Ghost Recon 4. Ghost Recon 3 Advanced War Fighter is not GR4.

Yes, they did remove it. It was there earlier, listed as Ghost Recon X (in production). Same with Socom 4.

Sounds like Ubisoft is doing what they can to keep a tight lid on GR4.

You know it.

It was there as I saw it myself, but now it is gone.

That is too sad for words. I mean its not like GR4 hasn't been already announced. Quite pathetic really.

with ubi keeping the details of ghost recon 4 so top secret i think that big changes are to come with gr 4 not just same game play style with new maps !
I think its not just us they trying to keep in the dark but other game developers,
trying to not showing their hand to early !

At this point in time with the GR franchise being as far gone as R6 is, I do not expect much from Ubi as far as giving us a GR that fans really want.

wow they removed it...

lucky i posted this up before they removed it,speaking of SOCOM 4 in the mean time i happened to pick up SOCOM Confrontation for very cheap $20AUD :P I have got to say, im having a real blast.

I have been wanting a 3rd person tactical military shooter for a long time (GR4) since i have outplayed GRAW 1&2, i find this game to be really tactical and addicting. its more about slow walk shooting then left trigger which is okay, aiming through the scopes though on all guns are terrible.

it certainly has its fair share of flaws & problems but if your looking for a "similar" experience it doesnt hurt to go try Socom if you have a Ps3.

As far as ubi keeping it top secret goes, ubi wouldn't know top secret if it bite them in behind. They have one gear, one view and nothing else or at least their PR department does.

Let's wait until a few months before the game is released, then tell a little secret and then one month before let's show a few new things, then a day before let's announce it's delayed so we can show more pretty videos. Pathetic

Every other game company that is as far along in a game as this one is, shows at least something when the offically announce it. But noo they'd rather focus on that wii garbage they got coming.

Truth be told their PR policy works. They sells loads of games even when the quality might be lacking.

Is it a good policy for the gamers that buy their games? Absolutely not. It's a kick in the balls for any fans of their games. But thats the way they do things.

Assassins Creed 2 is being hyped atm. Seems the UBI PR department likes 5-6 months before the games release to start the hype. That means we have to wait until roughly September before we hear anything substancial.

True, it is a good way to sell more games.

Because right now they probably have Assassins Creed 2 all done. So they are just leaking little tidbits like they aren't done. Then as it gets closer they leak a bit more, like their almost done. Then they ship it and fan response to the little info they have makes them want it. When really they haven't given enough info to say if the game is actually good, crap or inbetween. So it saves them the bad pr if the game is crap and they sell it.

That's why you wait until you see what others have to say, let them waste their money first..haha

Probably because the voices in SOCOM CONFRONTATION were so corny and poorly done, Ubisoft doesn't want us to know they are using PCB Productions on GR4.

Close guess. Didn't want you to know the voices from CSI: Miami are actually being reused. Where do you dig up these things?! Typing
