I played a single ranked game a while back. Mainly just to see how many games were available in the ranked section vs player matches since there was a shortage of player rooms.
I am a 1 because I do not play ranked. I was in a room with mostly 8's but there were a few 11's and so on. The map we played was Shoreline.
My team started on the bridge side of the map.
The other team started rushing the middle hard and trying to get past the bus depot and the fences behind it so they could get posted up at the exits of our spawn. I made my way around the right rear of the depot towards the river bed. Killed the guy trying to camp the far end of the river with about 6 rapid taps single shot from my Rx4 SD and ran round behind their lines. I spent most of the match behind their lines mercin them like noobs. When they finally caught me and killed me I decided to play it their way by going straight out of my spawn to meet the campers that had been posting up by the dumpsters and at the corner of the bluff flanking the first corridor into the street.
Because I run on single shot I was able to confront them and annihilate them in 1 gun battle after another until I took so many bullets I died.
1 match . Me the lowly lvl 1 noob that sucks blah blah blah...16/4 mercin a buncha 8's and 11's.
Just because you have a low rank doesn't mean you suck. I wouldn't argue with you over whether or not the majority of 1's suck but to just outright say they suck and claim it as fact is wrong and you all know it.

I should add that I laughed quite loudly at them in the lobby afterwards while I was giving them a sort of play by play of what I had just done to them. It was all in good fun though and they laughed with me. When I was done conversing with them I sincerely thanked the host (can't remember his GT) for the game to which he very politely responded that I was most welcome and I then left the room.
I only left because I had been playing for several hours and I was tired and bored. Perhaps being thoroughly warmed up gave me some extra noob prowess to do so well but personally I think it was just because my little #1 rank thingy means about as much as the dirt on my shoe

Low Ranks lucky I cannot host rooms on GRAW since I have DLC...

Its all about your team winning , I play to win, dont care about some number, some have jobs, kids, they cant play 24/7

I have been playing GRAW on the Xbox 360 for a while now and i can tell you if you want to play more team elimination matches with high rankers, get some people together and play team territory seige for a few hours your rank will go flying up for sure.

I personally don't care about ranks but I do like to have a good game. If I get beat thats just the way it is, when I'm on my game it goes the other way. As far as low ranks, high rank bottings, I feel that those who are that worried should try playing with other players of similar rank not to keep the high ranks happy but so you can all progress at the same pace. Turning off certain options can also make the game more challenging therefore testing yourown skill. I hang out with my wifes cousin some days we just fart around others we change up kits all night, only certain weapons can make maps harder to navigate.

I have never gotten into a ranked room. I dont get to much time to play. So when I do, I wont waist more than three tries and getting booted. Thank You to whosever idea this thread was. As soon as i get the 'red ring of death machine' back, i'm going to get my butt into a ranked room if it kills me

Myself, i am a rank 2, couldnt care less if i was a one eight or rank 12, my point bein its only a game and even the higher ranks had to start at a one at some point and they where given the oppertunity to play so why dont you guys give us lower ranks the same oppertunity that you guys had.

I have said it before but just in case there is someone out there that doesn't wait on my every word...... I feel that our issues for low rank being booted are important to the DEV's also, we low ranks are players that tomorrow will still be playing when all the high ranks have moved on. It's in the interest of both the DEV's and the low ranks to fix this problem. In the time between now and a fix, this thread is a well thought, simple solution.

I really don't care about rank games though I do like to do a little trash talking (who doesn't right?) this is a way we low ranks can have a competative game where we still gain a rank or two without getting booted or listening to a bunch of "real players" tell us how bad we suck..

Thankyou to the starter of this thread, I feel this is one of the most productive threads in this forum.

My live account just died the other day I'll be getting a couple of months in a day or two then we can get our game on.

To all the other players that want to get a game going I will be on Thursday Friday nights after 10:00 pm Florida time. I usually get on about 1030/1100 then play through to 2 ish with smoke breaks every hour or so. I usually host co-op or solo but I will host team games, I don't normally do rank games but if the players want it I will host it. I have had 10 in aroom before so we can definately get some players in.

I'm a high rank (19) and I see a lot of lower ranks in here bashing us higher ranks. I'd just like to offer our side of the story. I play Blind Seige and 95% of the time when a lower rank enters the room, he doesn't even know what blind seige is and when they die they quit the room when they realize they can't respawn. Thats one reason for not wanting low ranks.

Another reason is that we are playing ranked matches, which means were here to rank up. Its impossible for me or any other high ranks to improve our rank when playing with such low ranks. We receive no rank when we win, and lose 15-25% for a single loss. Thats why high ranks prefer to play with other high ranks, because for one we know each other and know that its going to be a challenge, and two, we will be rewarded for winning.

I understand that theres people that are ranked 1 that are good, if thats the case then you should be able to rank up within 2-3 games. A host cannot boot a player until after 1 match so try proving yourself in a room with other lower ranks and you should be allowed to stay. Team Elim - sharpshooter usually has rooms with lower ranks so try to move up in one of those rooms first.

If your really a good player then you should be able to rank up, even if you get booted out of a few rooms. Hell I started a new account and was a 15 in less than a month.

As is always the case there are exceptions to every rule, until this last post all the other high ranks that have commented on this thread have been full of them selves and had no real reason to not play with the lower rank.
