You found it cool. Most of these comments are from people who've been booted, some are from the booters, it is a very interesting thread, if you have a little extra time read it. While Ive been at this thread Ive found that there are some who boot for reasons that are ok, but most people get booted for reasons like yourself and in some cases because the BOOTED was a better player, unfortunately right now the only solution is this thread where you can meet other players and get your own game going.

That is the whole point of this room, lets players who want to play ranked games get in with other players in the same situation. Please make sure you post your Gamer tag if you want other players to contact you.

I am a rank 10... and I would like to explain a few things to you...
The reason lower-ranked people are booted from rooms are because a low rank is an indication that you are either not a very good player, or are a new player, and you skill is unknown. In a ranked room, higher-ranked players do not want to risk playing with less-skilled players because our ranks mean something to us. We put A LOT of hard work into obtaining our high ranks. Although to you, your rank may or may not mean anything, to us more experienced players, our rank means a lot. It means meeting other skilled players, it means joining both highly skilled and highly ranked clans, it means winning tournaments, and it means Professional competition. Although I acknowledge not all high ranked players are believers of what I am saying, and although I acknowledge that some lower-ranked players are excellent players, and future '10s' you must understand that for the most part, our rank is a representation of our skill level, and that skill level is what allows us to further our gaming in clans and tournaments. When you all are 10s and 12s... you will do the same, trust me! |

Also.. another thing.. someone in this thread said Ubisoft should make hosts lose the control of the room... I disagree! If that were to happen, rank 16s would be playing with rank 2s... and that would not be a fair assessment of any body's skill. For the most part, a rank 2 is not as skilled as a rank 15... (obviously, or the 2 would be a 15) and so it is not a fair representation of either player's skill level.
Also, hosts control things like kill cameras, drones, and other options that would give others an advantage. Most high-ranked rooms disable such options, as drones, kill cameras, and night vision assist when assisitance is not needed. That assistance also makes the ranking system flawed. |

That was probably the most intelegent point for the rank/ boot issue, thankyou. I feel that players like yourself probably take the time to explain before booting which is a big deal, a solution mentioned in here earlier was a search system that would show an average rank of room only if the average fell within say 5 of your rank, example: 3 players rank 6, 3 @ 5, 4 @ 10, total is 73 for 10 player average is 7 ish, if my rank was 7 all rooms with average of 2 through 12 would show, there is a window of 10 but this is only an idea, the spread could be a total of five. Either way I don't like the idea of pissing off good players because of rank, if I search for a game I would rather play in a room everyone knows that all players in or comeing to the room will be of similar rank. MUST NOT REMOVE HOST OPTION !! To boot players that are misbehaving first have a vote, if the other players agree say by to the a**, if they don't why would you want to stay. Just my opinion take it for what it is. |

Here is mine COMANDO BLACK AND SAMOHT78 put me down so I dont have to get kicked out because of my rank. I have been playing this game for a long time and need some real soldiers who want to play with tack if you are one those type of player send me a friends request and we could play. yo if you all have a problem with getting booted out of high ranked rooms, get your rank up. Its not hard. All us high ranks want is equal competition.

you high ranking players do not need to come to this thread to make us low ranking players feel any worse than we do when you kick us out of your lobbies. why are you even posting in this thread? to rub our faces in the online feces. aZero_to_36 you seem to be here to help, but you perpetuate the descrimination by agreeing to these bullies' posts (a slew of them got their rank by boosting). Really, if your a level 9,10,15... why post? couldn't you be more helpful by offering to play with some of us? no that would just be too much like right, instead you clutter and taint a post intended to help lower ranking players enjoy the game and get this actualy play it because we deserve to just like you. We paid our money for the game, we paid our live subscription, and even our cable bills so we don't lag your pathetic rooms, so in the future, I'm sure I speak for all who are unfortunate enough to beneath your level in life or virtual stature, don't flaunt your online ignorance here, we've had enough on live. Leave this thread the way that it was intended, and don't waste anymore of your precious time on us worhtless low rank players. We REALLY are TIRED OF YOU ALL!

I haven't even attempted a ranked game yet in GRAW 2 having been burnt previously in GRAW. Although, granted, I am not currently any good at the game for some reason I can't even get in a Player match without getting booted so can't improve any! Probably just my luck though, so I have my fingers crossed.
To me, rank is just a yardstick as to what you expect from a player, a guide to perhaps how acomplished they are but (due to boosting or whatever) "rank" can mean very little if just gained for the sake of. So why do I want to go through the circus known as Ranked Matches? Well simply they tend to be more organised (as there is something to gain at the end of it, and much to lose as well), and many of the annoyances you get with Player Matches quickly disappear (well if it is anything like GRAW that is). I don't pretend that I am any good, or even have the protential to be earth shattering, and I do not have the time to constantly play (having both work and family commitments) hence the lack of ranked under my belt. I don't play as much as I used to, if you send a friend request I'll hook a game next time I'm on, the same goes for any players that want to play a ranked game, I don't like to play ranked because of the boot issue but I will set up a room and nock some heads. |

I'm sorry, but I think this is total garbage. One stupid little number next to your class does NOT represent your skill. It only represents how long you have been playing RANKED matches. I am more interested in Player matches. Why? Because I don't like the competative BS that's in the ranked systems. Yesterday, I thought I'd might just give it a shot. I couldn't be that bad. I've played player matches for a long time now, so I figured I might as well just try some ranked matches to really see my progress. So, I just went in a room with like ten people. They were all level 10-13. They just laughed at me when they saw me with the little 1 next to my name. I knew it looked very lame. I don't blame them for that. But they can't judge me for that. Well. I got booted. I thought; Oh well, let's try another one. I got booted room after room. Tell me; HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO RANK UP IF NO ONE LETS ME PLAY? I have even got bad reviews just for JOINING AN OPEN ROOM. Again. Tell me. I am OK with your little excuse about booting low ranks. But HOW do you think it's right to give someone BAD REVIEWS for it? They never even played with me! What the hell are they thinking? I managed to find a lobby with 5 people of rank 1-5. Solo match, I won. I am now a rank 2. It was a very fun game, you would even forget it's ranked. Now, I hate ranked matches. My ideas about it were about right. Well, I think that's about it. I will contact some people who left their gamertag in this topic. We will have fun games. We'll just boot high ranks, see how they feel :P heheh. And err, Don't feel offended by this post. This is true, a "rank" should be what skill level you expect the player to be, and what type of challenge you will have against them. Not a "I've been playing this for ages and have managed to amass a million kills!"
In a perfect world, we would all be judged by our deeds once the game is underway, not by a number that DOES NOT always represent your ability. Unfortunately, this is not so...
They deem that joining a public room with high ranked players in it is a case of "not understanding the basics of the game". Whatever!
Judging by the way many higher ranked players perceive low levels (and I'm not tarring you all with the same brush, people still play the game as it is, a game), it is a miracle that anyone can rank beyond level 1! Okay, perhaps that is a bit harsh and untrue, but you can see the problems that many "causal" players have getting a game. We cannot commit ourselves to constant gaming, therefore when we want to play ranked matches (maybes to test whether we are any good at the game at all, as that is what ranked matches are for) our level makes it difficult to find and compete in a game. To rank up we need to play games, but to play games we need a rank. And to those who say it is easy to rank up, when you havethings to do other than join room after room hoping that they'll let you stay, levelling up is a chore which defeats the point of the game.
