While there is not an immediate fix for this problem at the moment, I suggest posting your gamertags here to join Low Rank non booting games. It should give most of you a fair chance to hook up with each other to play without being booted until this issue is resolved.
Black Widow man thank u!! not only do they boot low ranks, they boot high ranks because therye scared. im level 13 and i got kicked just about every time!
Hey what's going on? Gamertag on bottom. Add me as a friend if you want a host that can hold up to 16 players no prob, and never kicks people based on rank. If that's what you want out of a host add me as a friend!

What is Ubi doing to address the issue? annoying when you can hear people say "oh another level 2 etc etc, lets boot him...ha ha ha". At the end of the day I have paid the same ammount of my hard earned cash to play GRAW2 as they have! How can you better yourself if this is allowed to continue?
The ranking system is flawed. I think they need to make it so that the host as no control over the room. It should have an automatic launch timer and all settings should be random. That would be fairer and a truer representation of trueskill. At the moment its a playground for ego tripping jerks.
Any UK players want a fair host then hook me up. I can host 10-12 (possibly more if hosting UK playas) and I mainly play ranked Blind Siege with a little Hamburger Hill, Domination, Team Battle thrown in when agreeable. Just got my 9 but will play anybody with a rank 4<. I have nothing against rank 1's and 2's but it's so easy to get up to 4-5 in a couple of nights that anybody who can't get off a 1-2 is probably going to get slaughtered and unbalance the teams in my room - I do sometimes concede tho like the instance last night when me and my mate got thrashed by a rank 3 who I resultingly let stay for the rest of the night (I think he was a 5 or 6 when he left!). It really ain't that hard to get off a 1-2 - my mate went from a 2 to a 6 in a couple of hours play the othernight. Anyhow, my gamertag is UNKLE SPANKY spelt exactly as it looks so send a FR if u want to play tactical but without all the elitist bull****. I'm always open to gametype/map suggestions and drunken antics are strongly encouraged, lol.

Uncle Spanky I will send you a request. I saw your room ( i remembered your tag from these forums) on blind siege last night but dodged it as I assumed I would get kicked.
I don't do much J Arthur ranking so am on 5 (+85) and it's all been through sharpshooter where you rank up a whole lot slower if you play my way, believe me. I'm nearly always positive on kill to death count and usually in the top 3 if that score counted, but hardly ever top on kill total so I rank up slow on SS. SO many times I've had the best ratio in the room, but been on the losing team and half way down'cos the runner-gunners rack up the deaths. I have had a score of 9-0 and finished near the bottom on the losing team!
Should be better on Blind Siege where my style is more suited, but 4 weeks ago you couldn't get to stay in a room if you were less than 5 and now its up to 8 or 9 so I can't catch up!!
Not that interested in my rank anyway I just want a decent game and would prefer siege but nobody seems to host it. Happy to get drunk along with you guys and offer you some target practice.....I'll fr you

Take a look at the bold part right there. You do the same thing everyone else does (boot low ranks) so I'm a little puzzled why you posted in here.
The ironic part is you state how "easy" it is to go from 1-2 to 4-5, yet if everyone had your philosophy (which most do), then all the 1's and 2's will always get booted. There went the "easy" part.
I think ranked matches are silly, but I sometimes find ranked is the only option for no-respawn gametypes (usually late at night).
I'll remember your name if/when I rank up to a 4-5 so I can come run you guys over.

Um, I have difficulty imagining how you can outfox anybody if you are puzzled by this simple dilemma. The other half of the thread title (which you conveniently omitted) says meet and greet which is pretty much the purpose for which I used this thread. I would also strongly dispute your claim that I "do the same thing everybody else does". How many rank 9s will let a 3 play with them? I think you'll find I'm in the vast minority. I clearly state that I will allow somebody to stay regardless of rank if they can actually play and I still maintain that it is easy to get off a rank 1 - I've only been playing ranked matches on-and-off for about six weeks and it took me less than an evening to get to a rank 3. I had to put up with all the booting and name-calling when I was a 1 and I think it's part of the experience - Safrole has a good analogy somewhere here about it being like joining the army and having to prove yourself before you can stop being viewed as a rookie/noob. My point is proven in this case that the only people who whinge about this are the lower ranks themselves.
i agree with you guys completely but i think they should make an update were you can catch room with your own rank becuz for me i dont wanna play wityh guys that are ones, all though they may be good but its a waste of time and doesnt benefit my rank as much
Yeah this phenomena is probably the single most irritating thing I've ever run into while multiplayer gaming. I'm pretty new to the game (while not new to shooters) and I can't even get a game since I'm a 1. I can't raise my level because I can't get a game. It's ridiculous. If I try to host my own game it takes 2 hours since no one wants to join a 1. This is ridiculous. R6V, no problem get in get a match. I want break something when people boot. I'd probably rayyyyype em if I got in too. The one game I actually did get to play I went like 22 and 8. F&*k all the prejudicial little fags in this game.
Play some sharpshooter until you get up to a Rank 3-4 then start hosting your own matches - I frequently encounter rooms full of lower ranks. Once you find a group to play with then you'll be sorted. I actually like the way it works because I tend to find myself playing against a lot of the same players night after night and this adds to the enjoyment for me cos you don't have to deal with Billy no-mic again and again.
