A game like this would've been better off in third person mode. Third person gives the game a more complete feel, as you can see yourself and your expressions and your surroundings from any position. I can't imagine this game.

I think that first person games are only good for shooters - even though I probably prefer 3rd person shooters.

But thats just my opinion :P

The E3 trailer is in third person, and i bet all the cinematics in the game will also be, so wouldn't it be incredibly stupid if the gameplay shows nothing but Adam's arms waving across the screen?

I reckon it would be better in first person because i would feel more immersed in the game while i was playing it. For me, it makes the experience seem more real and isolated.

Also most adventure games are third person so this one would be unique. I don't think i would buy this game if it was in third.

but i understand where you are coming from saying they are all like that and that it would be unique...er in first person. But they put games like this in third person, because it works.

Well, I think it would be kinda cool to look up and see all the broken buildings. I don't have a problem with third person, but I thought that Mirrors Edge was really cool because when I looked around I really felt like I was Faith, or in Half Life Gordon Freeman etc. So I think it would be better in first person.
Just my opinion though.

Anything can happen. This game could become Third person. It probably won't be out until spring 2011.

Why not have both modes like in fallout 3. Fallout 3 was great and you could do both 3rd and first
