Why is it so precious to the goons in the trailer? It's only been six days since the accident.
You can survive a short while without water.
They are in the middle of chicago and so presumably water must be quite abundant: in water coolers, bottled, in the pipes... Also water will be in the food they eat. Can they possibly have run out of resources so quickly?

This leads to my second question, maybe the thing they want from Adam isn't water. Why wouldn't they "stand a chance" with water. I think Adam was working on something before the quake, and as the bald guy works in the same office, whatever adam was working on (maybe carrying in his satchel) baldy wants.

It could all be contaminated or destroyed by the earthquake. Pipes burst and get pulled apart, coolers fall over and spill, purifying plants fail, etc.

Actually... eating food does more to steal your current hydration, not restore it.

Of course, if you're eating a watermelon or something rich in moisture, you'll get something out of it, but a lot of foods will suck the moisture straight out of your body to aid digestion rather than actually provide it.

Well if they didn't want it, then why did they all make a desperate jump for it? Doesn't make sense to make a dive for something you don't want.

Also, I doubt he was "working on something." Mechanic or scientist? Probably not. Where are the dark blue coveralls or the white lab suit? His work suit says something more of accounting or marketing.

I believe it wasn't water they wanted from the beginning, yeah.
Though water was a great deal too. xD

Maybe we'll know in the next trailer?

"Why does Adam dont seem to care about the bottle of water?" I Mean, he just throw it, kill them and walk away, he dont even go get the bottle (Ok, maybe he cant go get it, but still...)

I agree with lostassasin123, If you´r thirsty enough you wouldnt exactly say no to someone throwing a bottle at you, but i belive that you are right... He COULD have made something the bald man wants... Well just have to wait and see

I think the guys was after something else, if not, why they appeared so surprised when Adam throwed the water bottle?: "Water!"
So, when they saw the water bottle, the thirst talked more loud and they forgot about the "thing" they was once after...

I saw the trailer a few more times... and realized that the guys was REALY after something else, it became so obvious for me now... why they would share the water bottle with each other (The three guys)? Don't it is a fight for survive? Each one for hinself? I think they was really after something else...

i agree, if water was so precious adam wouldnt just throw it away like that

He oblivoulsy doesnt want these guys to see something

also i just realised, if the place where he threw the water is his workplace, he could work for some type of mythology, (notice the statue in the back, and the reference to the website) this could be all dated to history and adam has papers of how they got out of it and those guys want them

They definitely wanted the water...that's why they all say, "Water!" after Adam tosses it on the ground. If you think that they originally were after something else, but still highly valued water so that's why they were distracted by it, well thats possible. Seems more likely they were just after water. It also seems like Ubisoft was putting alot of emphasis on the water, so in the game, water will also be pretty important.
