First let me say, what an IMPRESSIVE IMPRESSIVE trailer. Well done, ubisoft amazes yet again.

Now, I am really cruious as to what genre is this game going to be. It looks like it's a mixture of Survival horror, Action Adventure. The setting of the game also looks like a mixture of Lost/I am Legend and has a strong 9/11 vibe about it too!

I reall cant wait!

To me it looks like survival horror, minus the horror.

Everything I see so far looks less than horrifying. Is plain old survival a genre?

Type of game ? it reminded me instantly of the excellent S.O.S (disaster report). Im currently playing through Raw Danger (disaster report 2) and was hoping there would be something like its genre coming to the new generation of consoles. I hope theres some multiplayer co-op options in it.
Im confident Ubi will do an amazing job, and i look forward to seeing and hearing more.

The graphics remind me of Lost. Even though the trailer was CGI. I just hope they're not gonna add mutated humans to the mix or something. It would scream "I Am Legend"... But anyway; I think it's gonna be survival horror.

Why can't it be survival horror? I mean seriously, some crazed wacko will scare me far more than any zombie or monster will.

Now, what will really make it horrifying is if people are still rumbling down the road in SUVs while they simeltaneously beg for gas/gas money. XD

I agree. If anyone has played Dead Rising, the Psychopaths are are a heck of a lot scarier than the zombies themselves! If anyone has ever beaten the Insane clown with the chainsaws...the way he dies...oh dead God thats creepy

It's been confirmed! OPM have classed I Am Alive as as a survival adventure game in the small preview in the E3 section. Looks like there won't be zombies after all... (yay)
