Does anyone know what you're actually going to do in this game?

I assume hunt for food, fight off rabid, starving wolves that are death-bent on eating you, search for signs of survivors, and stay on the lookout for bottled water.
I have a feeling bottled water will play an important role in this game. |

I agree with LaurenisSomosh. But i'm really hoping the gameplay is better than some OTHER disaster games i've played *cough*DisasterReport*cough* As much as i loved that game the mechanics were really annoying.
--- Appearantly I have this whole "life" thing ahead of me. |

There isnt much information about the game out yet, only the E3 trailer. When a release date is set then more about the game will come out.

webswinger, sad now that the Star Wars forums are gone?
I think when we started spamming the place up along with a few other members, the forum entered self-destruct mode ~The way of the crayon~ Assassins are not lethal. Do not be worried. *insert shady smiley* Brucie is BACK! |

How would starving wolves get in Chicago?
That's something that always bothers me about disaster movies, especially in The Day After Tomorrow and I Am Legend. What the heck are wolves doing in big cities? People make the excuse that they escape from zoos, but zoos don't just automatically open up whenever a disaster happens. Starving dogs, maybe, roving in packs... that would be wicked sweet. Also panicking people and gangs of looters that are starting to get a little jumpy. But I'm still hoping that there will be a way to negotiate out of most fights... |

A city being destroyed would kill many, many people right? Well dead people are just meat to animals and there aren't any cars on the road to scare off animals so wolves, dogs, vultures, even cats would come to feast. |

Once something huge happens like what we saw in the trailer, animals tend to turn feral. They began to act on their primitive instincts and considering that the city is pretty much abandoned (to an extent) it will indeed attract wildlife from zoos or even the wilderness outside of the city.

Yo Lauren, I generally don't go anywhere except the Conviction forums (read'em a lot, but don't post much, haven't since a little before you went dark side on Conviction XD). Anywai, I would think the game would also involve trying to stop yourself from going insane. Such as when people were marooned on islands by pirates, many times the people would go insane from lack of company, losing track of time, and simply starting to believe insane things as they go to their most primal instincts. After all, many a time, insanity is what can turn you into the very thing you despise or are against. |

From the trailer you can see hes not alone. |

well basically, you're finding your ex girlfriend (whom you still have feelings for) called Alice. On your way you'll meet goodies and baddies, who'll try to stop you, taking your water and whatever else you have to survive. You have to go on some rescue missions for a pack of survivors in a shelter or something. That's what we know so far...in a nutshell
