he obviously doesnt have a real wepon or at least not one he can use (the men new he was cornered and defenceless)also he might have keys to the building where he might have a stach

i found out about this game like yesterday!
And this survival setting is the thing i love most in games!!!

But the water.... I understand that normal water dousn't flow anymore.
But the bloody earthquake was 6 days prior to the beginning of the trailer where adam was running... You guys really think all the bottled and canned water has evaporated in that short ammount of time?

But the 3 men where really happy with the water.....so..... i guess..... thinking....
got it.... every store that sells bottled water was probably ripped to pieces by the earthquake and all the stores that sell useless crap like tv's survived.... :S

From what I understand, you go searching for bottled water. There's been a major earthquake, all the shops have collapsed, it's harly going to be easy to find it. That explains your questioning about why the water is so in need, it isn't that it's not there, it's that they can't find it.

Benson078 you have a warped sense of reality. The only source of water in this situation would be bottled water and everyone would riot to get it.

But still there are so many places where they sell bottled liquids. So we go out to search for those places. Every office has something like bottled water.
So in my reality the water should not be almost gone in 6 days.

Atleast not so rare that people would kill over it... so they must be after something else.

Oh I agree with you 100% that they are not after the water but water would be gone because people would riot for it and clearly - as the trailer shows - it is very valuable and rare.

It wasnt a map to a rescue plan because adam was wanting to help people, he wouldnt keep it away from them....buuuuut if the men wanted it for themselves and forget about everyone else....maybe....but w/e im done with posts for now... ive posted over 2 post already!!!!!!!!OMG I NEED A BREAK!!!!!!

Perhaps it could be something like smoke bombs. The colored ones that mark an area. Since you're trying to find your girlfriend I would assume he is saving them for when he finds her if they are smoke bombs. They guys could want it to increase their chances of being found sooner. Could also be signal flares.

youv got to think that adam is just an ordanary guy and to kill 3 men as easily as he did has to take some guts he has to be either very desperate in which case he wouldnt throw away the water or has some other reason to kill so like to protect his bag so i think thtat it isnt just the water that the guys want and that maybe he does have soemthing special in his bag mayb a phone or soemthing like that which would be in very high demnd and very precious

When he made it away from the three guys he looked at the destroyed city like he hadn't seen how bad it was. I'm assuming he was holed up with the crazy water guys and some other people for the 6 days since the accident and something went wrong, like i dunno...maybe people turned to cannibalism or something. He took some supplies (water) and something else important, i'm really racking my brain here to think of what would be so important in a situation like that that you'd kill for instead of share so it couldn't be a radio or a way to be rescued. And if they want you to play as the guy i doubt they'd make it so that you steal the supplies then leave everyone for dead...
