Hi Everyone!

I love UbiSoft games and I've really been looking forward to I Am Alive. However, I'm now also one of many PC-gamers who won't be able to play UbiSoft's upcoming DLC for Prince of Persia because of a decision to release it for console only.

I'd be very grateful if UbiSoft could post a comment reasuring potential PC customers that any DLC for I Am Alive will not be released solely for their console customers.

I highly doubt there will be any DLC for this game. Doesn't seem like a type of game to have it. But, who knows?

The thing about the DLC's for consoles is that 9/10, you'll have to pay for it. So, if I was a pc owner that plays only pc games, I wouldn't bitch too much and take the free patches!

These "business reasons," I think, are because Prince of Persia did not meet sales expectations, and as such this issue is probably exclusive to Prince of Persia, not all Ubisoft games.

And on top of that, I'm sure Darkworks doesn't share the same views and policies as Ubisoft, and more than likely realizes the potential and value of their PC customers. It's up to Darkworks, not Ubisoft.

Nonetheless, rest assured, I'm sure things will turn out well for PC gamers, even in Persia's case.

I thought it is Ubisoft who decides such things?

It probably is hes just saying that darkworks make it so they would have to actually make the DLC.

Nothing has been announced about DLC, let alone formats for unannounced DLC. Wait till more information appears from the developers before asking DLC questions.

Thanks to everyone for all the mostly reassuring feedback. Perhaps I'll revisit this question closer to the release date so that this time PC customers may understand what they might be missing before they spend their money.
