The sequel to DEFENSIVE MEASURES. A symetrical map with two bases with a two level bridge connecting them to the center core. A path along the cliff that passes through a tunnel with a view of both background weapons creates the third route between the bases. I hope you enjoy it.


Central core with bases in background. The core contains an elevator to the lower levels (future map). Planetary defense weapon (from DEFENSIVE MEASURES) in bacground. Trail along cliff and through a cave also connects bases.



Upper and lower bridge to core.



Back stair to lower bridges

View down on core with elevator platform vissable in center.



Structures in forground will be in sequel map.

This, I believe, is Mikk's smallest map to date. I got a good walkthrough it this weekend, and look forward to getting some games in soon. Based on the size, I think a straight-up Deathmatch may be the best mode to play, but I could be wrong about that.

Mikk, you're also getting a good handle on how involved you can get with with your architecture and maintain a good frame-rate. This one has very little slowdown.

And as always, REALLY sweet architecture.

like many maps from mikk, the architecture (and probably the gameplay too) looks unique.

MIKK Q did a wonderful job on this map as well as the rest, I love how each map has a corrosponding story as well as a user friendly layout that anyone can navigate. I really enjoyed the gameplay as well as the layout and design.Keep up the great work!

This map has recently been renamed to 'THE CORE' as the word "aegis" a has been deemed offensive.

note: This map is very small (will fit in one grid) and has views of 'DEFENSIVE MEASURES' (out base windows) and 'CORE DEFENSE' (below). Plays great on TD and CTD.
