Modes: DM TDM CTD Uprising
Recommended players: 4+
Time: 150+ hrs (no joke)

This is an indoor map, with both close quertres for tight gunplay and yet still has plenty of room to breathe. It is a very very heavy custom map, nearly everything in it was built from scratch. As the game progresses, the corridors will fill with debris from the battles, however it does not interfere with gameplay or even show up until an explosion or gunfire triggers it. (secret method)

The map features the debris factor, awesome gunplay from tight quarters and corridors to open transformer rooms and cargo bays. (there is cover there too) An insane amount of ducting is included in this map, you can literally navigate the entire map via the ducts. There are many exits from the ducts, however not as many ways in. They are not hidden nor are they obvious, so keep an eye out...Detail is abound, everywhere you look there is something to see. Screens and a link to a huge slideshow are below. Any comments/suggestions are welcome!

I should have specified PC, Lol. I only say that because there is a distinct lack of sci-fi themes on the PC. While the PC has very good maps just like the consoles, it does not have a lot of wild, fantatsical maps.

Anywway, ill be taking that out of my post since it is a bit braggy lol. Im just really excited avout this one, it is very heavily customized, even each wall panel was made from severeal parts. I have seen nothing even close to this vusually speaking, and that does not mean detail wise even though it is full of that as well.

...actually went and reviewd the post since I had a few beers by the time I put it up...not really braggy besides the 'unique' thing. However, since thats what I aim for when making a map, Ill just leave it there Happy

Just trying to pimp my map to the fullest pimptitude possible!

Ive loaded it up in the editor and checked it out. Looks realy good but i can see myself doing some massive team killing here from all the fools blocking door ways :P.

Are you a miget in real life agent? most of the ceilings give barely any room to do my bunny dance Smile...

I tested this in CTD, and had to move the diamond crates. I have not published the update yet, all fixes will come on the final version. Just a heads up, CTD plays fast and mean.

Also... There are areas where I made jumping very high impossible, but by no means are most of the map, though they are heavily trafficed areas. (i hate shooting at jumpers lol)

Ok...I cant lie to you guys...its actually a scam by Rogaine to skim the hair off the top of you head...

I wanted to download this one, however you have got two copies available on the Ubisoft server and they are both from the same date Googly
If you can correct this quickly or make clear which is the current copy, than I might give it a try on a private lan-party this saturday.

Yeah, I had only one copy, then aftetr running a server for hours, suddenly no one could download the map anymore...very odd. S o i repubbed it, i solved the problem.

Anyway, Ill take down #2 and keep the newest one, so there will be only one up in a little bit here.

Also, it shouldnt matter anyway, since they are both going to be replaced in a couple days with the final version. Also, when in LAN, it doesnt matter. I will still go right away and delete the extra, it IS annoying to see multiples of 1 map lol.

There is only one Beta now...still, there will be a final version very soon, so keep an eye out for the thread.

There are a few flaws I found, the diamonds are too close, making a quick game if you know the map at all. Also, there is an occlusion block that is too low in the ducts, making a 'skylight' in the ducts in one spot lol.

There are a few other minor flaws, but none of it affects the gameplay unless in CTD mode, which plays fast and ruthlessly.

This is really a great looking map from the screenshots. Can't wait to give it a try. If it plays half as nice as it looks, you've got yourself a great map. Nice work!

if only the pc and xbox players could play cross platform like a few upcoming games are suppose to (we'll see what happens) that would be so awsome for this community, so many good people making fun maps.

Hi Kevin,

I tested your map in the editor, and it's quite original your idea (lol the planes...) but it's not my style, because I'm claustrophobe...

Anyways, I discovered some bugs, like the occlusion blocks, for example, when entering quickly these little rooms I have seen what's behind the room wall (the mountains), so I deleted one OB (occlusion block) & no more problem anymore.

Another thing, it's maybe the aligning of the surfaces, I know it's tough work, but maybe it will look a way better. Also it seems to me to be too dark in there, some additional lights would give some more effect to your map.

+ as thafurious said it, maybe make the corridors larger, 1 player will surely block the way for another player.

Little bugs I discovered, like some flickering effects but I guess there is a lot of work remaining for this complex map you have projected !

Ran this one on my server and was pretty fun. Like i said i was justa TKing the entire round with people getting in my way Smile haha. few bugs here and there which ya know of now. Little claustrophobic but still fun, im sure is a blast in DM.

I have put out the last beta that should catch all the things I missed.

Many things were fixed:

Moved diamond crates farther apart and from each team/s bases

Adjusted all occlusion blocks to allow peeking from corners without pop up

Totally reworked the lighting for maximum light and framerate

Corrected all flashies at seams (that i found)

Sealed ducts to stop any light from getting in from outside

now its Lunar Lunacy BETA2, and will be published in about 15 min.
