Well, after months, I have finally discovered something: ranked players dont care so much that you made a coffee pot, a microwave and an entire detailed break room. They care that they kill people, and as much as possible.
Couple that with the severe lack of free time I have right now and we have a sudden evolution of my mapping: simple, looks good enough, functions. Ultra high settings? no prob. low settings? well i hope you like 150 fps cuz thats what you are going to get

For the serious players as well as those playing on PCs that are barely capable of operating FC2, FPS is a major factor. I do like to sac a bit of performance for detail and lighting, but I strive for maps playable for most. I have been shooting for 20k object count for quite some time now, hence the more 'basic' maps that I have been putting out.
Luckily, we still have guys making spaceships and mosters and aliens on PC

They dont need me for that.
Oh btw: the bulding has a roof (and is actually the point of the map) but yu can see through it from the top, which also lets the sunlight through to light the top floor.
