Nice Map

I put on server last night and played a few rounds... only problem we had... it was hard to get on the hills to take out the snipers..

other than that play was great.. good job

Thanks man.. it was actually designed that way because I wanted to create hassle-free spawn areas.

I didn't even think about the sniper problem that would inevitably arise as a result.

So you think gameplay would have been better had the hills been more accessible?

Wow. Im sorry I didnt get into this map sooner. This map makes some of the best use I've seem yet of brushes in a conventional sense as well as customs aso well executed the blend perfectly with the surroundings. The terrain work is extensive, and theres grass to burn in all of the right places. There are snipers, but the game i played there were counter-snipers, and they basically had their own little war going on up high. It was no problem at all to dash from the spawn and into cover quicly, disappearing into the inner play area. I used a USAS 12 and really ripped into the other team by using the cover and general structure of the map. I mean, this was really fun to play.

A new favorite map of mine!

Thanks alot 00Kevin.

I really had a great time making maps for FC2, and while there were far too many custom maps out there, making it frustratingly difficult to get people to play/provide feedback on mine, the creative process itself, along with the great little mapper community here made the whole thing worthwhile.

My experience with online gaming has typically been quite negative, with too much attitude coming from too many immature teenagers, jaded old gamers, and other such losers who think gaming is the be-all and end-all of everything.
Therefore, my hat is off to you, R6, UncleDave, Otreum, and all the other guys whose names aren't coming to mind, for making this a thoroughly pleasant and engaging experience.

Ubisoft messed-up large in failing to adequately support this game, but we sure made the best of it, didn't we? Metal

Anyway, my time with FC2 is over, but I do indeed hope to run into you lads in some other forum one day soon, so we can start the shenanigans all over again. Winky

keep keepin' on bruva.
