Hello

I have created Many new maps for the PC version and finally tweaked and tested them all. All my maps feature ALL game modes and are small/medium run and gun style maps. Feel free to download and host on your servers by searching by map name FuRiouS in the in game map cummunity. I also host my own ***Ranked*** server (FuRiouS Maps) running all my maps plus others mostly in CTD game mode normally 5pm - 12am Central US times.

Hope you enjoy, sorry if the video quality is bad (youtube really butchers the videos), my video editing skills are not too great but you will get the general idea of each map, also dont mind the crappy FPS as i took the videos with fraps set all on ultra high .

FuRiouS Funhouse - Small Funhouse run and gun featuring lots of neat glitches to play with your mind while trying to kill people .

FuRiouS Chasm - Medium sized map, One of my earlier maps i have decided to republish with much added adjustments. 2 dogon cities storming across river to gain control of each other while an innocent small city is caught in the middle. Perfect for uprising but does suport all game modes.

FuRIouS Truckstop - Very small very brutal, if ya have time try your skills on the custom half court

FuRiouS Suburb - Medium sized map. Just your ordinary quiet urban suburb filled with beauty, or is it? Feel free to take a dip in the nice swimming pools or hang out at the basketball courts.

actually, you do not have to buy a new game. Just create a new screen name, even just add a character to the end of your current one, like a 2 or something. Then you get 10 more slots.

You have some really nice looking maps there FuRiouS. The cave looks amazing.

Sure look good, I will try some on my server where I host small maps (4-10 players). Unfortunately often maps turn out bigger than they seem and thus become sniper maps. For fewer people I prefer close combat, or as you say run and gun style. Exactly with that in mind and also inspired bij a COD4 map I made my own map (DM only), from which I cannot state the name, as it is immediately promoted to a 4 star mapname (****ment). However if you follow this link to a video with ingame footage, you will find the exact name:

No problem, I already have my 2nd name (agentOOkevin- O's instead of zeroes) and am just now to the point of needing it.

BTW, your maps look fun, I have a couple but have not gotten around to checking them out yet.

I also have to decide which to do: sleep or create maps. I go on frenzies where the 'create map' wins out.

FuRiouS cave would be what you describe as a sniper map but other then that im sure you will find all others small and fast action. I dont care for happy camper snipers maps myself so i try to minimize them as much as possible but i do put in some sniping spots when available.

This map along with future maps you will have to search publisher thafurious1 as i maxed out my limit on thafuriousone . Or you can search by map name FuRiouS as its labeled in all my maps.

That is a good idea, I should have worked something like that into my titles, so a quick serach would turn them all up. I do creat maps in a series now, so typing in Defense Grid for instance would bring up all the maps in that series, since it is in every title. I may start doing that, but it wont work as well since I didnt start that way.

Hi, I did a hosting session yesterday which included three of your maps, Dogon, Showdown & Swamp, which I thought were the most interesting for my small maps DM-server. Yesterday 6-10 players.

Dogon was fun, half snipering and half running & gunning.
Showdown is a nice remake and excellent for running and gunning (just how I like it).
Swamp felt a bit like hunting, sitting in a hut listening for the sound of walking in water, aim and finish the prey

I think all three will return in the mapcycle regulary or once in a while; I try to put in 1 or 2 new ones each time I host (once or twice a week,servername: Doderik FC2).
If I have tried one of your other maps I will let you know.

One small thing I noticed in Broadcast: plants were growing in some unexpected places like the bus. Not much of a problem, but it's probably nicer if you weed before you publish

Just note one thing: because of the label in front of the mapname, you can no longer see the full mapname in the mapbrowser. Only because I had the mapnames from this forum I could locate which was which. Anyway searching on author worked great.

Yesterday night I hosted another map of yours: Bridge.
I thought it might be just a bit too big for my small maps DM server, but no problem there
Apparantly a few players where afraid to make the crossing, probably because I made the train my territory

Just wanted to say had fun playin some of your maps on a full server (tomb raider, crossfire, and hunter lodge) and now that i see you've made many more i'll def have to look them up. Keep em coming, great work!
