Ive noticed Getting people to join a dedicated server gets a harder and harder at all hours of the night.

Ive run one for my new map and many others from the Fc2 community over the past few days especially.
Even at peak play times I hardly had anybody join.

So what to do with the thinning Fc2 community???

Thats right!!

The ones left need to join together and Friend up on one Gamertag(that will be 100 FC2 friends that will be able to send invites at any time).

Ive seen this done on Frontlines fow and it DOES WORK great!
There are enough of us players to fill a server 100% of the time if we just communicated more and banded together

I will try and make the dedicated FC2 Gamertag for everyone to send a Friend request to.

Then all anybody has to do is check to see who is friends with FC2Friends In doing so You will be able to see who is online and send out 100 invites to your server if all of those people are online.
You get my drift?

O.K. All Serious FC2 Diehards on the (360)Please send a Friends Request to "FC2FRIENDS"..
We can use this gamertag to check who is online(By checking FC2FRIENDS friends and send invites to our servers).
This will realy help us all get organized and playing together more often.
I see Ton of people still playing and I can't seem to be able to walk away from Fc2 and the editor(Plus Fridays gaming session was a lot of fun).
There are Tons of new games Out now and coming out soon.
None of them so far have the Editor FC2 has so I feel there is a lot of life left in FC2 as long as people are not spread out.

JOIN NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will easily see at least 100 FC2 players that may or may not be online just by checking the FC2FRIENDS gamertag(Then send them invites)

there is also the FCMAPS.NET Server which stays pretty full on a regular basis and hosts nothing but community maps.

The Gamertag I started(360) was Mostly for giving everyone a Place to look for players online playing FC2,OR players who would play FC2 if invited.
It seems there are alot of players still playing ,,Just no way to organize.
The FC2FRIENDS will give a 100 count list for people to send invites from.

So what your saying is FCMAPS.net is an xbox gamertag?

If not Then it is not the same as what I did here.
I tried to look it up but didn't have luck on the Net.

This is a way to fill servers rapidly by seeing who is online from a list of 100 FC2 fans playing on the 360 .

Its for the 360.
We were going to set one up for PS3, but Maxpower got kind of ****ed off about some of the idiots in the PS3 community and decided to step down as a site Admin over it. so now they do not have one.

I for one think this is a great idea!.

The gamer-tag is gonna have a silver membership?

and it will appear offline on my friends list?.

In my opinion you should have made the gamer-tag [1FC2Friends] So that it would be closer to the top of our friends list for faster access.

Also...

You should definitely make sure that the friends list is filled with the most active/dedicated players in the community. So I would send out the invites to those people first and get them established in there before it fills up with just anybody.

Granted, you are gonna get some people that just want to get their map checked out sending invites to this gamer-tag, so do some background checking.

The GT belongs to Inhumansolid. One of my Admins at fcmaps.
He runs the server. I don't think he has a dedicated FL for it, but he does post what he is going to host on fcmaps.net in the matches and tournements forum.

You can send him a PM at fcmaps to find out info if you like.

I was going to put one together myself since I have two 360's, but will wait until next month after I move before I do it.

I will let you know.

I'm going to keep the name FCFRIENDS just because its already done and its only in the F's .

I got a FR from the account and accepted. I came back to FC2 after some time on CoD:WaW since Map Pack 3's release.


I wasnt used to the gameplay, the aiming threw me off instantly. It takes some getting used to - obviously.

So I might be back, although my online game was horrible.

I would think 100 slots would be easy enough to fill up but I guess not .

Yes,, but I figured if we could fill up the gamertag with FC2 fans(100),,Many may be willing to join a game if invited.
