I have also noticed that the compressor can only be blown up by the host, which should also be fixed. Also when "dune buggy"s are placed in a map their wheels hover off the ground until bumped.

Playstation version of FAR CRY:

MOVING OBJECT-(in the rotate,tilt,and move option) The right analog stick seems to be inverted. When I try to move the object to the background pushing up on the right analog stick, the object will go to the foreground or toward the screen and pressing down on the analog stick has the opposite effect.

LIGHTING OBJECTS-No option is available for any objects that would light up the map. Some examples would be a: gas Lantern,propane lantern, batterylantern, candle, torch, and a campfire. (to my understanding, the personal computer version of farcry has objects you can put inside the map to luminate specific areas)

GAMEPLAY LIGHTING-(on the map) GUNSPARKS from shooting do not light up the ground or rock objects and only seeming to be the collection system it lights up. And FIRE does not produce light on any object, collection system, or ground.

Hope I was organized enough for a timely effective comprehensible read and patch.

The editor doesn't like some of the angles I want to view from when I edit and won't let me edit without adjusting the view angle--this is not a camera auto follow issue, as this is turned off.

I'm sure someone has mentioned the texture glitch already.


My FC2 Maps, for PS3, all of them optimized for Team Deathmatch:
North-South Crossing (a compact battlefront and a hot combat zone, suitable for all classes)
High Noon (a classic western shoot out in a one horse town... except with assault rifles)
Wasteland Refuge (influenced by Megaton from Fallout 3, a dense collection of buildings with great verticality)
Blitz Creek (a wide open waterway where cars and boats can mix it up, shallow water prevents crouching and firing. pretty much a sniper map)
Siege of Station A21 (yes, a siege: the APR can't get out and the UFLL can't get in, all fire takes place through windows and boarded up doors)
North Quarter (an urban assault with advancing battlefronts)
Secret Valley (a large, detailed city with many secrets to discover)
Custom Mode Beta (I'm trying to create a new game type)
Hate Thy Neighbor (urban battlefront, gang warfare)

i'm having a post-editor issue with my spire map. in the editor the terrain looks fine, but once uploaded/published, playing actual games on the map reveals a whole section of mountainside flickering dark and light, almost strobing.

this doesn't occur until playing the final published version. it seems it may be due to lighting, but i'm not exactly sure.

Question about the map editor for 360 version.
how can i stop my objects spawning sideways, I am unable to rotate them upright if that is possible, so any help at the moment would be appreciated. ^^

I have the pc version. Using xp sp2 with ati radeon hd3870 and 9.8 drivers. Can open the editor but when I try to do just about anything, I get an unhandled exception error. It says -

value of '-1'is not valid for 'green'. 'green' should be greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 255.

Latest direct x and .net everything. So anyone have any idea how to fix this issue. I tried the ubi support but they just said the editor was provided as is. So, I hope someone can help. I would really like to make some maps.
